Kim Zolciak is sharing new details about her custody arrangement with Kroy Biermann amid their divorce. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shares five children with her ex-husband, and is clarifying where they stand today.

Kim took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she broke down her custody agreement with Kroy. “I signed a temporary order at the end of January. That order clearly states that both the mother and father are to participate in two counseling sessions per month for two months, followed by one session per month thereafter,” she wrote.
But, work obligations in February and March made it “impossible to attend the required counseling sessions.” Although Kim revealed that she had sons, Kash and KJ Biermann, with her for some time, Kroy “currently has the children for spring break, which is his designated parenting time under the existing agreement,” she continued. “I am scheduled to resume my parenting time when the children return on Friday. My counseling sessions are scheduled and will be completed next week.”
“For the avoidance of any doubt, I have not lost custody of my children, nor has there been any modification to the custody arrangement outside of the agreed-upon temporary order,” she added, before signing her name.

Kim spoke with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, where she revealed her one wish for Kroy amid their divorce. “I wish that we could co-parent. I don’t have any problem with my ex, Kroy. I don’t have any issues, I never have,” she explained.
She continued, opening up about their co-parenting relationship. “I just want what’s best for my kids, and unfortunately, I’m willing to do whatever it takes, and I’ve tried so many different avenues and different ways that we could co-parent, but it’s impossible,” Kim admitted. “So I just accepted it a long time ago.”

Kim had appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 31, 2025, where she admitted that her divorce from Kroy, which was initiated in 2023, is “still in process.” When asked what led to their divorce, Kim revealed that “the rug was pulled out from underneath me.”
She further admitted that she and Kroy don’t “really” talk to each other, even when it comes to talking about their kids. “I would prefer to communicate more regarding the children, but it’s just not there right now,” she noted.
