“Brielle paid an electric bill here and there,” Kim said in the July 31 episode. “I mean, I was — I have to be so careful, guys — but I was left with nothing, so I had to figure it out fast.”
Kim explained that her ongoing divorce from Kroy Biermann put her and her family in a financially precarious position, so much so that she relied on her second-eldest daughter, Ariana, for some assistance.
Ariana Biermann says Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann “took” her money
Fans learned more about Kim’s money situation in the Next Gen NYC series premiere (June 3), in which Ariana revealed that her parents had taken all the money she earned from spon-con deals.
“I started posting on Instagram. I got my first brand deal when I was 14,” Ariana said in a confessional. “You can get paid astronomical [amounts] to do a story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money… Unfortunately, my parents took my money. I can’t say exactly what they used it on, because I just found out that it was gone two years ago. I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest.”

During Kim’s Clubhouse appearance, WWHL host Andy Cohen pressed Kim about Ariana’s claim.
“Can you reveal how much money it was and what it was spent on?” he asked.
“Actually, the rug was pulled out from the Zolciaks,” Kim responded, before alluding to her and Kroy’s financial issues. “And, yeah, I mean Ariana’s money was spent on bills, to be honest. I was left, you know, holding the bag for the family, and yeah.
Kim didn’t specify how much money she and Kroy took from Ariana’s social media payouts, but said she has paid back the more recent loans.
“Yes, the money I borrowed from Ariana, I paid her back,” the mom of six said. “I’m saying for the bills and stuff. And as far as what she’s made and all that stuff (spon-con), I don’t have the spreadsheets, but she will be [paid back].”
