Kizzi Kitchener’s engagement to her fiancé, Tom Whiteley, felt like “magic” to her. The Below Deck Mediterranean stew got proposed to in Paris in late 2025, and is now sharing new details about her engagement ring from her rugby-playing fiancé.
“Tom designed my ring himself, which makes it even more special. Getting engaged felt genuinely magic,” she told The Daily Dish via email.
Kizzi took to Instagram on Nov. 9, where she posted a series of photos from their romantic engagement in Paris. In the main photo, Tom can be seen pulling out an engagement ring in a photo booth, before Kizzi flashed the sparkler on her ring finger. Kizzi continued to show off images of her engagement ring in the carousel, including a very sweet photo of Tom wearing the ring on his pinky finger.

Kizzi’s ring features a solitaire, oval-cut diamond, set on a yellow gold band. She also snapped a photo of her engagement ring on a café table in Paris, capturing the images taken during their adorable photo booth engagement.
Kizzi Kitchener shares updates on her wedding planning to Tom Whiteley
Kizzi and Tom are already planning their wedding together, which she is very happy about. “The whole process of planning a wedding has felt so easy,” she explained to The Daily Dish. “We really do make a good team.”
“Wedding planning is in full swing; we’re almost done,” she added. “I can’t wait to let my inner yacht stew loose on the table decorations!”
How did Kizzi Kitchener meet her fiancé, Tom Whiteley?
It’s only fitting that Kizzi and Tom first met while she was working on a yacht. “My fiancé and I met in Montenegro,” she explained to The Daily Dish. “I was working on a yacht and he came and met me!”
“He proposed after about a year of us being in a relationship,” she added. “When you know you know!!”

Kizzi had a lot of fun during Below Deck Med Season 10. She flirted with deckhand Joe Bradley throughout the season before kissing each other during the Below Deck Med Season 10 finale.
But, Kizzi told Decider in October that she had not “hidden anything” from Tom throughout filming the season. “He’s actually been a massive support for me through Below Deck Med so far,” she explained. “More than anything, he’s proud that I did something I wanted to do and threw myself into it…After the charter season, we built this relationship from complete honesty. We’re in a really, really good place.”
