Kristen Doute’s life has been so busy in the past few months. In June, she gave birth to her daughter, Kaia Lilly, and is currently in the process planning her upcoming wedding to her fiancé, Luke Broderick.
But, The Valley cast member is also looking forward to taking some time to work on some very exciting projects with her clothing line, James Mae, after re-launching it in 2023. Kristen teased what’s to come from James Mae in a new interview with The Daily Dish.
Although Kristen hinted, “We have some fun things coming up that I cannot disclose,” she did share more about the new products from the brand.Â
In addition to its notable t-shirts, the line also now has some very fun onesies inspired by Kristen’s new role as a mom.
“The onesies we just started,” she shared. “We’re working with this really amazing female graphic designer who I love and she’s become a lot more of our social media family.”
“And we’re working with somebody on TikTok, so we’re going to come a little more in on the social media standpoint,” she added. “But there’s some fun announcements coming in the next few months.”Â
When did Kristen Doute’s t-shirt line, James Mae, launch?
Kristen first launched James Mae while she was a cast member on Vanderpump Rules. The retro-inspired line of California cool t-shirts is named after her niece and nephew.
Kristen re-launched the line in 2023, during Season 1 of The Valley, after learning some valuable lessons along the way. “Of course, over time, I spent a lot of money in places that weren’t necessary, because I didn’t know a lot about the business side of things,” she said, during The Valley Season 1, Episode 8.
Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick’s podcast, Balancing Act, is currently on pause
In addition to running James Mae, Kristen and Luke have their own podcast, Balancing Act, where they talk about how they balance their careers with their relationship and their friendships. But, the podcast is currently on pause.
Luke and Kristen have taken a “little maternity/paternity break” on their podcast as they focus on life with Kaia, who was born on June 11. But, before they took this break, they were putting out episodes on a weekly basis.
Details on Kristen Doute’s wine line, Witches of WeHo

The brand, developed with Nocking Point Wines, launched in early 2019 with a Pinot Grigio, a rosé, and a red blend, and is still available to purchase to this day.

Katie gave an update on the wine line during a podcast appearance in April. “So Kristen, Stassi, and I, when we started this, it was like a collab kind of thing,” she explained. “Nocking Point does collabs with celebrities and athletes and all different people, where they’ll do just kind of a one-off. We wanted to do more than one. We wanted to do as many as possible.”
Luke Broderick shares exciting plans for his future career
In addition to co-hosting his podcast with Kristen, Luke has so many hobbies and interests that he focuses on in his free time. He loves to be fish and hunt and be outdoors in the Colorado wilderness (especially since he has property there), in addition to playing golf.Â
Luke recently told The Daily Dish that he plans on combining his love for his hobbies with his Colorado property in the near future. “I have been planning over the last year and a half-ish to start a music festival on my property in Colorado,” he explained.

“So [with] the timing with the baby, I’m not able to be out there,” he continued, noting that the music lineup for the festival will be “soft rock” and “country rock.”Â
He added, “But my partner on it is having a small one in early August. So that’s like our tester, and then we’ll probably go one about five times the size next year. If we can pull it off, I’d like to go there to support. I can only do so much from California.”
