Kyle Cooke is addressing the comments made by his wife, Amanda Batula, in the Summer House Season 10 trailer.
In the Summer House Season 10 trailer, Amanda alleged that Kyle “fell asleep” at a fan’s house. Kyle spoke with People on Dec. 9, where he set the record straight on what happened that evening. “There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” he said. “I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party.”
In the Summer House Season 10 trailer, Amanda can be seen talking to Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller about the situation and how Kyle’s DJ career has put a strain on their relationship. “Kyle fell asleep at some fan’s apartment, and came home at like, 6:30 in the morning,” she explained.
He noted to People that he “ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m.” He continued to the outlet, “Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”

Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s marriage on Summer House Season 10
Kyle and Amanda will continue to experience their differences on Summer House Season 10. Per an announcement for the new season, Kyle “enters the house eager for a lighter summer and some much-needed quality time with Amanda, but his growing DJ career continues to cause tension.”
Amanda, on the other hand, is coming into the summer “more grounded, confident, and in control of her life than she has in years. She leans on her close friendship with Ciara, and embraces growth. But under the surface, is there an unhappiness that her housemates can’t see?”

In the trailer, Amanda can be seen taking issue with Kyle’s career as a DJ. “I wanted him to stop going out and partying, and he found a career where he goes out late and parties,” she said in a voice-over.
Kyle also brings up his own issues with Amanda in the trailer. “You know what I think we have an issue with? Compatibility, chemistry, intimacy. What about that s—t?” he asks her.

During BravoCon 2025, Amanda reflected on the changes and evolutions she and Kyle have gone through since they began their relationship. “When I started, I was 24. I was actually labeled as Kyle’s ex-girlfriend, but was never actually his girlfriend, so that was fun,” she said during The Summer House Always Wins panel. “So I’ve done so much growing up. And now that I’m 34, because it has been 10 years, I feel like I’m a whole different person.”
“I’ve really come into my own, you know,” she explained. “I was Kyle’s ex-girlfriend, then Kyle’s girlfriend, then Kyle’s fiancée, then Kyle’s wife, and now I’m sitting next to Mr. Batula, also known as Amanda Batula’s husband.”
“It’s 2025, I’m taking her name,” Kyle joked.
