Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula did an end-of-year reset on their NYC home.
As 2025 came to a close, the Summer House couple decided to update their apartment with several new pieces of furniture. Kyle revealed the additions in a December 18 Instagram Reel, captioned: “Telling my wife all about our new couch.”
Kyle Cooke & Amanda Batula update their NYC living room
The video showed Kyle lounging on the LoveSac “Sactional” in the light beige colorway before breaking down some of the model’s key features. He highlighted the patented interlocking design, the Lovesoft filling, and — perhaps his favorite component — the built-in recliner.
“I have never had a recliner, let alone a recliner in my couch,” he told Amanda. “Did you feel these pillows? They’re, like, absurdly soft.”
As he got a feel for the new sectional, Kyle realized that his and Amanda’s living room could use another update.
“We’re gonna need a bigger TV,” he told his wife, who was behind the camera. “My couch is so big, I feel like I can justify a bigger TV now.”

Kyle also showcased the new LoveSac ottoman and accent table.
“This table required zero assembly,” he said. “It’s solid wood. I can configure it in totally different ways. There’s doors here; there’s drawers you can pop in. Right now, I use it to store these trays.”
Amanda shed more light on the video in the comments section, confirming she handled the creative direction, editing, and overall concept. But one element she refused to take credit for was the slow, piano-driven background music.
“WHAT IS THIS MUSIC!!!???” she wrote. “It was so much funnier without it.”
Kyle Cooke reveals his closet transformation: “This was a makeover”
But the home changes didn’t end there. Kyle and Amanda also did some much-needed organizing with the help of Lisa S Jacobs, CEO of NYC-based organization service Imagine It Done.
“We are in the midst of flipping our entire living room. Finally, finally we’re gonna pull this off,” Kyle said in an Instagram Story. “New couch, new layout, and it’s all because we had to get rid of stuff.”
Kyle, who filmed the video alongside Lisa, said many people mistakenly believe they “need a new apartment or a new home” whenever space becomes an issue; however, one can create a roomier feel by decluttering and reorganizing.
“This was a makeover,” he said. “Don’t think that they (Imagine It Done) are coming in and you’re hands off. The more hands-on you are, the better.”
Kyle and Lisa then made their way to the bedroom closet, which received a thorough refresh. The Hamptons housemate explained that he and Lisa organized the garments by seasons and culled Kyle’s wardrobe of “many” floral-print shirts.
“We started to figure out how to keep [the closet] organized but functional,” he continued. “I think that’s the key in having someone come in and [organize]. You think that it’s one and done; I think that’s the mistake… There’s a rhyme and reason, and sometimes it just takes time and understanding of what you need.”
Are Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula still looking for a new home?
Kyle and Amanda have been discussing a home move for the past several years, but have yet to find a place that checks all the boxes. Amanda addressed the topic during BravoCon 2025, insisting she hasn’t abandoned her home search.

“I have been dying to move. I think you guys have seen for the past five years,” she told The Daily Dish. “So we’re always looking for new apartments. We just can’t find one that we’ve settled on that both of us like. So we’re still up in the air on that. Like, especially when you’ve lived in a place for, like, six years.”
Kyle and Amanda’s home upgrade came as they faced a new wave of rumors concerning their living situation. See how Amanda responded to claims that she and Kyle were no longer under the same roof.
