Kyle Richards is addressing rumors about whether or not she is moving and that she’s sold her house. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member currently lives in a stunning home in Encino, which she moved into in 2017 with her family, and she isn’t showing any signs of leaving it just yet, despite speculation.
Kyle took to her Instagram Story on Monday, Oct. 6, where she shut down the rumors, as she stood outside of the house, while wearing a brown LA Dodgers hat, as her many dogs ran around the yard. “So a number of people have reached out to me, saying that they heard that I sold my house and that I moved,” she said in the video.
“And that is just not true,” she explained. “I’m still here, my house is actually not for sale, and I don’t know where they come up with these things. But, yeah. I always wonder where these stories come from, but no. I did not sell my house.”
Kyle Richards makes updates to her home’s decor
Kyle has added some new decor to her house, further proving why she is staying put. She took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she showed off her new Halloween decor and her brand-new amethyst crystal.
In one photo, Kyle showed off her living room, which is complete with a Halloween tree and other spooky figures sitting on her mantle, during a “cozy night in” with her youngest daughter, Portia Umansky. “And that is a HALLOWEEN tree, not a Christmas tree. LET ME LIVE,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

She also showed off the new amethyst crystal placed among her collectibles in her home. “Oh my gosh, this is unbelievable,” she exclaimed in the now-disappeared video. “Just got this and I’m so excited. It’s from Desert Matter, and I’m obsessed. Oh my gosh.”
Does Kyle Richards want to move?
Although Kyle is not planning on moving any time soon, she has floated the idea. Kyle spoke to Us Weekly in October 2024 that she can see herself moving out of her home within the next 10 years, living in a different place “surrounded by a lot of dogs.”
“I probably won’t be living in LA full-time,” she explained. “I’d be in the mountains where there’s more nature — and not so much chaos.”
Kyle also spoke with The Daily Mail in May, where she admitted that she’s interested in “going off the grid.” “I’ve been telling my friends lately, ‘That’s it, I’m moving to a farm, I’m going off the grid. I’m going to live off the land. I don’t want to go on any social media.'”
