Love is in the air in Beverly Hills, as Bozoma Saint John decides to throw a matchmaking party during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15, prompting her to declare in a first look at Episode 3 (watch above), “I feel like I’m the hostess of The Bachelorette!”
“I’ve come to a striking realization. Almost everybody is single in this friend group. These girls are going through it,” she exclaims during the preview, airing Thursday, Dec. 18. It comes as Kyle Richards, Rachel Zoe and Dorit Kemsley are all currently navigating separation and divorce.
All of Boz’s cupid plans are coming together flawlessly until Kyle, Dorit, Rachel, Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke actually show up for the party, and make a shocking realization: they all dressed in black.
“We all look like we’re going to a funeral, you guys,” Kyle moans, as Sutton adds in her confessional interview, “We’re all dressed in black like we just came from some sort of witch convention.” Even Dorit begrudgingly acknowledges in her confessional, “We do not look like a group of women that are looking to find a date.”
Erika, however, believes that the subconscious choice to all match in black is actually a symbol of where they all stand with love. “I think it just says where we all are in our lives. It’s black. It’s a black cloud. Over all of us,” she says.
Earlier in the first look, Erika shares her vision for her look with her stylists. “I want to look like a normal human being. Right? Because, you know, men get scared. For the face, I think that we keep it young. Approachable. Could give you a blow job in the alley — but probably won’t,” she jokes.
Celebrity stylist Rachel, who is currently divorcing her longtime husband Rodger Berman, also explains how she chose her outfit for the occasion. “The key is you can’t look like you tried too hard. Because that reads desperate and thirsty. Don’t look like you spent three hours getting dressed. Like, ‘I just threw this on,’” she says during her confessional.
Although she also chose black, Rachel opted for a jumpsuit, and ac threw subtle shade at Kyle, who chose a little black dress. “I do think if you wear a little black dress on a first date you’re saying, ‘I want to have sex with you,’” Rachel adds.
Bozoma Saint John shares her hopes for Kyle Richards’ love life
Boz admits during the first look of RHOBH Season 15, Episode 3 that she’s unsure of Kyle’s exact romantic status as she navigates a years-long separation from Mauricio Umansky.
“I don’t know what to make of Kyle’s single state,” she confesses to producers. “Is she single because she has accepted her separation from Mau? Is she single because she isn’t dating anyone at all?”
Fans may recall that Kyle admitted to Erika during the Dec. 11 episode that she was “in a relationship” after she and Mauricio separated in October 2023. “You know, I was seeing someone I cared about very much,” Kyle shared, but then proclaimed that she was now single.
Boz later shares her predictions for the evening with her assistant, Nico. “I think Dorit is going to be the most enthusiastic,” she tells him, and he adds, “Erika too.” But Boz disagrees. “No, Erika might scare them. Secretly, I think Kyle is going to be very nervous.”

Adding to Kyle’s skittishness about the evening, Erika criticizes her choice of handbag: a Hermès Mini Kelly that cost $36,700. “Why did you bring the most expensive bag? See, this is clearly signaling you’re high maintenance,” Erika jokingly scolds her.
Although she hopes all of her guests find love, Boz confesses she has the highest hopes for Kyle. “I want all the girls to come out and enjoy themselves, but I think this might be an opportunity for Kyle to really let her hair down. Flirt a little! I wanna see that side of her.”
Bozoma Saint John describes how she picked the “bachelors” for the RHOBH cast
Bozoma explains in detail during the first look how exactly she came up with the men who were invited to meet her friends. “I went through my contact list, and found eligible bachelors that match the interests of my friends,” she says.
Producers show a flash back to four days ahead of the party, when Boz meets with Kyle, Dorit and Erika to write down the key words of traits they want from a romantic partner.
Dorit declares she needs “chivalrous” and “safe,” while Kyle asks for “sexy.” She jokingly describes sexy as “someone who likes sex, and you can tell by looking at them.”
“I have done my research,” Boz says on the day of the party. “I mean, this is a pretty good group. They look good too.”

Boz warns the bachelors ahead of the party that “these ladies are very nervous.” She adds, “I can’t even tell you the group chat with the, ‘What should I wear!’ ‘What should I say!’” Producers show group texts of the ‘Wives prepping, including Kyle jokingly offering to pay Sutton to wear her cat sweater at the matchmaking party. RHOBH fans will remember Sutton boldly wore the sweater on a real date, and it was even unveiled at BravoCon 2025.
“It would be really great if one or all of them found true love tonight,” Boz shares. “And even if it doesn’t happen, I’m still excited for them to flirt a little bit, because maybe it’ll loosen up the old wires that aren’t necessarily clicking all the way.”
