Kyle Richards Recalls Encounter with Lisa Vanderpump & Ken (VIDEO)

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards shared new intel on a familiar face, and it involves  Lisa Vanderpump.

At BravoCon 2025,  Kyle shared an anecdote about her years-long falling out with the Vanderpump Rules matriarch and her husband, Ken Todd. Joined by her sister Kathy Hilton, Kyle was asked by panel moderator, KiKi Monique, about her “most iconic moment” across 15 seasons on the series. Kyle admitted there were plenty to choose from, but discussing Kyle’s most memorable moments couldn’t go without the Season 9 moment when Ken kicked Kyle out of Villa Rosa (more on that below) and shouted “Goodbye, Kyle” on his way upstairs. As Kyle told audiences at BravoCon 2025, people often yelled Ken’s zinger out loud, and Kyle is no exception.

“The other night, I was at the Beverly Hills Hotel … and I saw Ken and Lisa,” Kyle explained. “And I sat there, and I thought, ‘Well, what should I do?’ You know, because it always doesn’t go well when we see each other in person. So, we both kinda — maybe she did see me, maybe she didn’t — but as he was leaving, I said, ‘Goodbye, Ken!’”

Kathy said she loved it, before Kyle continued: “I didn’t know if he had heard me or not; I just had to do that.”

How Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump’s fallout led to “Goodbye, Kyle” on RHOBH

Ken shouted the line when defending his wife of 40-plus years as Kyle and Lisa went head-to-head in Season 9.

For context, the confrontation at Lisa’s home went down amid the puppy-gate scandal, when Kyle questioned Lisa about leaking stories about Dorit Kemsley adopting a dog from The Vanderpump Dog Foundation. Lisa not only vehemently denied the accusation, but she became offended when Kyle refused to stick up for her.

It turned into a screaming match between the women, and despite Lisa swearing on her children’s lives that she never leaked the story, it was a moment that forever fractured their years-long friendship. Lisa ultimately demanded that Kyle see herself out before Ken delivered his iconic line as he and Lisa left Kyle downstairs.

Most recently, during an Oct. 22 Amazon Live stream, Kyle admitted to viewers, “Listen, LVP and I have had our issues, and, obviously, you know, in doing a show like this, it doesn’t always bring out the best in people,” Kyle said. “So I think that, you know, if that weren’t a part of it, I could maybe see things differently.”

Kyle managed to find five things to admire about the restaurateur when prompted by fans because there were “many great, great qualities to Lisa Vanderpump,” Kyle continued in her live stream.

“She’s very funny,” Kyle noted. “She’s very smart. She’s beautiful. She is a very good businesswoman. And I bet she’d be a good grandmother.”

For her part, Lisa has repeatedly claimed the door to their friendship remains closed. In December 2024, when speaking with Access Hollywood, she explained, “I think when you talk about the opposite of love and they say that it’s hate, and it’s not. It’s kind of indifference.”

Lisa continued, “It needs to start with an apology to ever reconcile because you can’t ever pick up a friendship when somebody’s calling you a liar. That doesn’t work for me, at all.”
