The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards revealed that estranged husband Mauricio Umansky made a major change in his living situation as they navigate their ongoing separation.Â
While sharing new family updates during the RHOBHÂ Season 15 premiere, Kyle said in a confessional, “Mau moved out of his bachelor pad condo and rented a house in Beverly Hills.”
She also revealed whether their two daughters, who still live at home, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17, frequent Mauricio’s new place. “Portia spends the night there sometimes,” Kyle noted. “Sophia, not as much.”

When Kyle’s other two girls, Farrah, 36, and Alexia, 29, stopped by her home in the episode, they all further unpacked their feelings on Mauricio’s single life. As the girls candidly explained to their mom, they’d come a long way since she and Mauricio announced their separation in October 2023 after 27 years of marriage.
“When Mau and I first started having problems, we didn’t tell the girls,” Kyle explained to a producer. “Obviously, they felt a shift. So, when everything sort of blew up, they said, ‘We need you to be honest with us.'”

One topic that arose multiple times in RHOBH‘s Dec. 4 episode involved the PDA paparazzi photos that have circulated of Mauricio with various women he’s dated, post-split. Kyle faced the chatter head-on.
“The first time I saw a photo of Mau, it was shocking; I was taken aback,” she admitted in a confessional. “But I’m a little desensitized now, unfortunately. Of course, he’s allowed to do what he wants, and I know he’s not doing that to hurt me. I just wish that he would be a little more discreet.”
Later, Kyle hosted her castmates for a backyard get-together, and Dorit Kemsley addressed similar photos of estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley that sparked their ongoing divorce. Dorit theorized that PK had been mirroring what he saw as “good friend” Maurico “living his best life.”

Dorit eventually asked Kyle how she felt seeing pictures of Mauricio kissing other women, to which she replied, “The first time … it was shocking. But now, I’ve seen a few.”
That’s when Season 15 newcomer Rachel Zoe chimed in to ask if Kyle is dating now.Â
“I’m not. I’m single,” Kyle answered, before clarifying, “I can [date]; I’m just not. … I just haven’t been leaving my house. But guess what? I’ve been happy.”
Regardless, Rachel — who revealed that multiple people had recently tried to set her up with Mauricio — advised Kyle to go out three nights a week. She even recruited her to join a quest for a “hot girl summer,” even though Kyle later joked she didn’t know what that really meant.
Where Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky stand today
Neither Kyle nor Mauricio has filed for divorce, but viewers can expect to see her weighing out “whether to officially end her marriage or salvage the relationship” during RHOBH Season 15, according to the show’s official announcement.
“I’m not, like, quick to jump on any next moves yet,” Kyle explained to The Daily Dish in an exclusive interview during BravoCon 2025 weekend. “But I mean, listen, it’s a very long time we’ve been together, and there really hasn’t been a reason to make any moves yet.”
She continued, “We’re just taking it a day at a time. You know, living our lives, separate lives.”
In the meantime, Kyle and Mauricio remain good friends as they navigate their next steps.
As the RHOBH ‘Wife put it during a Nov. 14 BravoCon panel, “It’s just a given, but we are really grateful that we really love and care about each other enough that we put our children and our family first, and we’re able to go about this separation in a very amicable, loving way.”
