The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills exes Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have remained close friends in the wake of their shocking split, but there’s still one sensitive subject they won’t discuss with each other: dating.
Kyle broached the topic during the “Livin’ in Beverly Hills” panel at BravoCon 2025Â on Nov. 14, pointing out that, because they’re no longer together, they’re obviously “allowed to do whatever” they want in the romance department.
“We live separate lives,” she elaborated. “But, um, of course, I think we’ve seen Mauricio dating.”
When the panel moderator asked if they ever actually discuss their respective dating lives, though, Kyle responded in negative.

“It’s like, you know, we don’t really want to know,” she said, before joking, “And I can just look at TMZ and find out anyway.”

Kyle continued, “It’s just a given, but we are really grateful that we really love and care about each other enough that we put our children and our family first, and we’re able to go about this separation in a very amicable, loving way.”

Immediately afterward, sister Kathy Hilton chimed in with her honest thoughts on who would be a “perfect partner” for Kyle.
“I think she would want somebody that’s active, that’s funny, that’s successful in their own right, that doesn’t have the begging bowl out,” Kathy revealed.

After some chatter about what exactly a “begging bowl” was, Kathy added, “I think she would want to have somebody that’s fun, good-looking, and a kind person.”
As she concluded, “And I think she will find that person.”
How Kyle Richards’ post-split dating life plays out on RHOBH Season 15
Even if it’s not a topic of conversation between her and Mauricio, the RHOBH Season 15 trailer, which dropped on Nov. 4, teased that Kyle will approach sex and dating with more candor than ever.
During an outdoor get-together with her castmates, Bozoma Saint John appeared intent on getting to the bottom of Kyle’s mysterious romantic life, so that she could be “helpful” in her search for love. Kyle responded, “Well, why don’t you ask what you really want to ask?” before joking, “I could go Brad; I could go Angelina.”
In fact, Boz could even play the role of matchmaker for Kyle. While taking notes on her dating preferences on a large whiteboard in a separate moment from the Season 15 sneak peek, Boz explained, “I have to know what you want.”
Kyle’s blunt response? “Someone who likes sex!”
Mauricio is still in the picture, too, as the two continue to navigate their ongoing separation (which they announced back in July 2023) — and whether or not they want to move forward with a divorce filing. During an emotional scene, Kyle’s estranged husband wiped a tear from her eye, as she told him, “I’m trying.”
As the official Season 15 announcement teased even more of what fans can expect to see after RHOBH premieres on Dec. 4.Â
“While she helps plan her daughter Alexia’s highly anticipated nuptials, she struggles with making the ultimate decision – whether to officially end her marriage or salvage the relationship,” the release read. “All the while, Kyle is moving forward, leaving behind the rumors and speculation surrounding her personal life over the past few years.”
