Kyle Richards and Bozoma Saint John are still in a “dispute” over their phone call about Dorit Kemsley that took place on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
While in the Hamptons, Kyle expressed concern to Boz regarding what she referred to as Dorit’s seemingly “manic” behavior amid the stress of her contentious divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley. She cited such examples as Dorit being late for their flight, spending “too much money” while shopping, and generally appearing to be “scattered.”
Once Dorit returned from the East Coast getaway, Boz visited her for a check-in and debrief on her FaceTime with Kyle, during Season 15, Episode 12. On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, however, Kyle slammed Boz’s version of events, beginning with the point of who initiated the call.

After Boz noted that there was “a whole dispute” over who called whom, Kyle separately explained, “Boz was trying to FaceTime me, and we didn’t have Wi-Fi. And then I ended up calling her back, and then she tried to say that I called her to tell her this. I’m like, no, no, no, you were actually FaceTiming me. I had to go outside and try to get Wi-Fi. So, don’t try to turn this around.”
Ultimately, Kyle wondered if Boz “made it something bigger than it was” when she eventually talked to Dorit.
“There was nothing malicious,” Kyle insisted. “It was just two friends talking about another friend that they are worried about what she’s going through, and making observations. It wasn’t like a malicious gossip fest or anything like that.”
In fact, Kyle also brought up that Boz “said she was worried about her spending habits,” too, adding, “This wasn’t a one-way conversation.”
Dorit Kemsley’s reaction to Kyle and Boz’s phone call on RHOBH
Regardless, Boz told Dorit on the RHOBH After Show that she still believed Kyle was “genuinely concerned” about her. Dorit remained unconvinced, however.
From Dorit’s perspective, if Kyle was as worried as she claimed to be, she would have talked to her directly in the Hamptons, rather than opening up to Boz in a phone call. Underscoring the importance of “the delivery and the timing,” Dorit said that she would have been receptive to that conversation.
“I think she’s doing it to make me look bad,” Dorit theorized about Kyle. “I think she’s putting it out there. I think she went around to everybody in the group, so everybody would have that thought planted in their mind. And I think that when the conversation came up, she would not be the one saying I’m the only one who thinks it.”

Dorit had also made similar comments about the drama during RHOBH‘s March 5 episode.
“I have an issue with ‘friends’ that are concerned, yet they don’t bring the concern to me,” Dorit explained to Boz. “We just spent four days together in the Hamptons, 24/7 for four days. And she’s having a conversation 3,000 miles away with someone, as opposed to sitting down at any point in those four days.”
She added in a confessional, “Again, I find myself the token moron, the token idiot, who actually believed that Kyle and I … were in a good place. She’s brilliant at making me feel that, but what she’s doing behind my back is something completely different.”
Why Kyle Richards did not talk to Dorit Kemsley about her concerns
On the After Show, Kyle insisted, “If I [were] really concerned concerned, I would go up to her. If I thought she was doing something dangerous to herself … I would say something to her. But that wasn’t the case with this.”
She offered more intel in an Episode 12 confessional, telling a producer, “Of course I am concerned about Dorit and what she’s going through. But Dorit does not want to hear what I have to say, even if it’s good advice. I’d rather talk to the people that Dorit is actually listening to, and maybe they can get to her, because obviously, whatever I’ve been doing isn’t working.”
With the RHOBH cast jetting off to Italy, however, Kyle and Erika Jayne decided to talk to Dorit anyway.
As Kyle suggested during a shopping trip, “I feel like maybe we could have a conversation with Dorit one-on-one without the group just to, like, see how she’s doing and to see, like, where she’s at mentally with everything that’s going on and how we can help.”
