Kyle Stillie Makes Shocking Statement on Charter Guest Hookup

Kyle Stillie is continuing to muddy the waters surrounding his alleged charter guest hookup on Below Deck Season 12.

After vacillating between bragging about and, later, denying a sexual encounter with a married co-primary named Helen, the deckhand kicked off Episode 12 by seeming to accept the consequences of his actions: “It’s a wake-up call in a professional sense,” he claimed in a confessional.

As Kyle made clear, however, Damo Yorg and Fraser Olender more or less forcing him to come clean to Captain Kerry Titheradge caused him to question which fellow yachties he could actually “trust” on St. David.

“It just proves that I have gotta watch where I keep my alliances,” he added.

By the end of Below Deck‘s August 18 episode, Kyle’s swirling emotions ultimately led him to make another confusing statement on the rumored hookup. On the heels of his multiple vehement denials to Captain Kerry and others ultimately saving his job, he toasted his castmates during an off-charter group dinner.

“It’s been a pleasure. I’m glad I’m still with you guys,” Kyle began his speech. “Sometimes you get away with things in life, and … I’m really, really proud of the fact I got away with something that I wasn’t supposed to get away with.”

Did Kyle Stillie actually hook up with a charter guest?

Kyle told Captain Kerry “nothing happened at all” with charter guest Helen, and he doubled down on his denial during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen‘s August 11 episode, once again claiming the hookup “definitely [did] not” occur.

Added Kyle, “I’ll be honest with you, Andy, there was a point in time where I was in that sea where I thought potentially something may have happened. But nothing did happen.”

Why Kyle Stillie called out Fraser and Damo over the charter guest hookup rumors

Despite Kyle’s insistence that nothing happened with the charter guest, on Episode 12, his fellow crew members pointed out that his phrasing made him sound “guilty,” at which point he made a damning declaration.

“I really thought that f–kin’ Fraser would’ve really, you know, done me in,” he added, before encouraging everyone else to “have a drink” with him.

Following Chef Anthony Iracane’s prior accusations that the chief stew was responsible for his past firing, Fraser was not keen to let the diss slide, though, and asked Kyle to clarify exactly what he meant. That’s when Damo stepped in and took the blame for the rumors escalating to involve Captain Kerry.

“It’s f–king both your fault,” Kyle fired back, prompting Fraser to shout expletives in French and leave the restaurant.

“I’m not playing this game,” Fraser fumed, as he walked away. “I’m not being villainized again.”

As he continued in a confessional, “I’m pissed off. If anyone needs to be held accountable, it’s Stillie himself. …  At this point, I’m done.”

Kyle Stillie opens up about personal issues amid the hookup claim fallout

Leading up to the heated dinner moment, Kyle had confided in both Damo and Jess Theron about some heavy emotions he was experiencing amid the fallout. First, he stated that he was unsure how to properly navigate Kerry’s directive that he keep his distance from charter guests, moving forward.

“I feel like I’m very much under the microscope,” he told Jess. “I’m just trying to do the best I can to stay away from them without looking like I’m being rude.”

During a chat with Damo, Kyle added, “I just feel awkward every time I’m around the guests now. … But these are the actions of my consequences.”

In a confessional, he elaborated, “I’m usually pretty outgoing. I love life. I love people. I just don’t know where to place myself. I don’t know what to do. I’m a ghost on the ship. I shouldn’t be here, but I’m still here. I’m just pissed off. I just wanna get the job done and f–k off. I’m over it. I’m fed up.”

As the drama continues to play out, don’t miss how Kyle and the Below Deck crew reacted to a low tip after Helen’s group’s “crazy” charter.
