Lala Kent Gets Emotional Sharing Regrets From VPR Season 11

Lala Kent has just a few regrets when it comes to Vanderpump Rules Season 11. And, she’s reflecting on the emotional season and her actions during it today.

Lala (whose real name is Lauren Elyse Burningham) spoke with Entertainment Tonight on Sept. 26, where she elaborated on this. “It still weighs heavy on me,” she admitted. “I was dealing with a lot of foreign emotions at that time. I wish I could have pinpointed how I was feeling in real time, because then I feel like I could have had more productive conversations with people.”

“And instead, I just tried to push everything away and it was an explosion,” she continued, admitting that she had feelings of “anger, anxiety, and depression over everything that happened.”

During the VPR Season 11 finale, Lala went on a rant about Ariana Madix refusing to film with her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, which Lala told the outlet she now regrets doing. She explained, “It was done. It was over. And I told myself going into that night I was going to fall back and I was going to enjoy my night. And it didn’t go that way. I wish I shut the f–k up,” she said.

Lala Kent says Vanderpump Rules Season 11 felt like “karma” for her

Lala tearfully admitted that she has not yet made peace with herself after Vanderpump Rules Season 11, even though she is doing “a lot of work of just owning my own part.” “I think it’s still work that I’m going to have to do for a while, because it shifted everything, for me,” she said.

“It altered friendships, it altered just a very happy place for me. I never experienced that before,” she noted. “It was humbling, but it also felt like karma.”

Lala also has a few regrets from her first season of VPR. She joined the cast in Season 4 as a hostess at SUR. She took to her podcast, Untraditionally Lala, on Sept. 29, where she addressed her actions as her younger self. “I wish I could go back and be that f—king cool again,” she said. “She did not give one s—t. I watch it and I cringe and I’m like, ‘Oh wow, you’re committed. You’re committed to the bit.'”

However, she admitted that she was “so insecure” during her debut season. “I was broken out, and I really had to fake confidence,” she continued. “I faked it until I made it, and then we went a little too confident. Then the head was in the clouds. I would have told her, ‘I know you’re having a great time.’ Maybe I could have told her to not hit the bottle as hard, because I really wish I could have just a drink with someone. Instead I’m like, ‘How’s that drink? I’m gonna hit a meeting.’ It’s all good though.”
