Nearly four years after her breast augmentation, Lala Kent is preparing to undergo implant revision surgery. The Valley cast member announced the decision in the January 14 episode of her Untraditionally Lala podcast, explaining the issue she was having with her current implants.
“Guys, I’m getting new boobs!” she said. “Yes, I got them done in 2022, and I got them done by amazing doctors. I loved them.”
Lala, who gave birth to her youngest daughter, Sosa Kent, in September 2024, insisted she “loved” her body, but she wasn’t thrilled with her postpartum physical changes.
“Sosa wreaked havoc on my body. Between my stomach that’s a little loosey goosey, depending on the way I move…” she said with a laugh. “My body created life. Love that part. But my boobs, my right one is concaved on one side and is working its way up to the collarbone.”
Lala Kent says her body has started “to fight off” her implants
Lala spoke about her implant concerns during her October 2025 podcast interview with The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Heather Dubrow and her plastic surgeon husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow.
“We talked about how it’s ‘capsular contracture,’ which means your body starts to fight off the implant,” The Valley mom said in her recent podcast episode. “And I know you guys, most of you are gonna be like, ‘Then you shouldn’t have implants.’ I’m sorry. I refuse to have my nipples down to my belly button, OK?”

Lala Kent says she’s getting her breasts redone for health & “vanity” reasons
Lala said her upcoming breast augmentation will be performed by a plastic surgeon who specializes in her condition.
“A lot of her patients, though, have had double mastectomies and are breast cancer survivors. She’s world-renowned,” Lala continued. “They’re basically doing reconstructive surgery. I’m gonna go in, and they’re going to use technology to show what size would look best. But ultimately, this is something that I have to get done right. The longer I keep these implants in, the right one is going to continue to build scar tissue; it’s going to continue to push towards the center of my chest and up towards my collarbone.”

Lala said she wanted to get new implants for two main reasons: One was for “vanity purposes,” and the other was for health.
“I’m very excited because my boobs are not something — again they fed two babies, I’m very happy about that — but I just don’t feel confident with them,” she explained. “And the other side is, you know, the health concern. So I’m very excited to get my new boobs.”
