There’s one Vanderpump Rules reunion moment Lala Kent wished had made it to air, and it has to do with fellow alum Tom Sandoval.
Lala admitted to The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Heather Dubrow on the Oct. 15 episode of the Untraditionally Lala podcast that she quoted one of the OC mom’s most iconic lines: “If everyone says you’re dead, it’s time to lie down,” which the then first-time Housewife delivered to Alexis Bellino on the RHOC Season 7 reunion.
“I wanted them to air it so badly!” Lala said, explaining that she threw the quote to Tom “because he just kept going. I was like, ‘f–k it, you’re dead! We all agree!’”
The mother of two credited the Housewife’s eloquence, telling Heather, “Everything that comes out of your mouth is just like dripping in gold, and I just love everything you say. And you stay level-headed, but you’re so f–king interesting. Whereas, I think I’m only interesting if I’m ripping someone’s head off.”
Though the Bravolebs didn’t specify which reunion Lala quoted Heather, the dramatic VPR Season 11 reunion — which aired in May 2024 — marked the end of the cast’s on-screen antics.
Are Lala Kent and Tom Sandoval friends?
Lala admitted on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in November 2024 that she and Tom Sandoval talk “ever so often,” though not much.
That said, Lala had Tom’s back during his memorable Season 3 participation on Peacock’s The Traitors. She said in a February 2025 Amazon Live stream that Tom couldn’t catch a break from the other contestants due to the cheating scandal that followed him, but still, “he did get the job done.”

Where Lala Kent stands with the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast
Meanwhile, Lala and Scheana Shay have been embroiled in a public feud since the release of the latter’s memoir, and Lala was recently rumored to be in a relationship with Tom Schwartz (though the two are just friends). On Untraditionally Lala, the Give Them Lala beauty brand founder also confessed to extending an olive branch to Katie Maloney to no avail.
Why Lala Kent has regrets about Vanderpump Rules
In a Sept. 26 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lala confessed that her choices from Season 11 — namely, her gripes about Ariana refusing to film with Tom Sandoval — “still weighs heavy.”
Said Lala, “I was dealing with a lot of foreign emotions at that time. I wish I could have pinpointed how I was feeling in real time because then I feel like I could have had more productive conversations with people. And, instead, I just tried to push everything away, and it was an explosion.”
