Lala Kent is saying goodbye to her Give Them Lala podcast.
The Vanderpump Rules alum confirmed the news earlier this week, more than five years after launching the weekly series. While the decision undoubtedly left some fans disappointed, the mother of two reassured listeners she wasn’t abandoning the podcast sphere; she was simply rebranding.
Lala Kent takes a big step in her “rebranding” journey
“The podcast, I’m very excited,” she said in her September 9 Amazon Live stream. “I’ve been talking about the reinvention of Lala and what that means and what that’s going to look like. It took me a really, really long time to kind of understand what that was going to look like.”
Lala began teasing a rebrand during Vanderpump Rules Season 11, explaining why she no longer liked the tone of “give them Lala.”
“When I created Give Them Lala, it was very much like I was shoving myself down your throat,” she said in Season 11, Episode 7. “I have changed as a person. I am, believe it or not, a little bit more reserved, and I need my brand to reflect that.”

Lala Kent explains why she’s ditching the Give Them Lala name
She reiterated her stance during her latest Amazon Live stream, saying the Give Them Lala name was simply too “juvenile.”
“I was talking about a rebrand that was going to happen,” she said. “I just didn’t even know, at that point in time, what I wanted out of life. I didn’t really know who I was. I went through a monumental change in my world, and I was kind of running off of adrenaline… at that point in my life, I was starting to get really comfortable with who I am, my new normal… It took me a lot of time to find my footing, decide what I believe in, [and] who I am.”

The former SUR hostess said Give Them Lala “represented a part of [her] life that no longer exists.”
“And it’s not going to exist ever again. We’ve grown out of it,” she continued. “So, I dissolved two of my businesses, and the podcast is next.”
When can we expect Lala Kent’s new podcast?
The Utah native previously rebranded the Give Them Lala Beauty brand to just Lala Beauty. Give Them Lala was also the title of her 2021 book.
Although she couldn’t confirm an exact launch date for her new podcast, Lala said she and her team were aiming for a September 17 premiere.
“I’m excited for you guys to see what we’re going to be doing when we come back,” she told fans.
