Lala Kent has found her “purpose” in motherhood. The Vanderpump Rules alum is the mom to a 4-year-old daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, and a 1-year-old daughter, Sosa Kent, and she could not be loving life more. Even if it is “a lot” to juggle.
In the last few weeks, Lala took to her Instagram Story, where she shared a look inside of her life as a mom of two and made a big declaration about motherhood. Although it can get chaotic, Lala noted in a text post that being a mom and being with her kids is the one place where she feels so comfortable being. “When people ask what I’ve been up to and I don’t really know what to say…Being a mom is the one place I feel I know my purpose,” Lala wrote in an Instagram Story.
“I know why I’m here,” she added. “The moment I love that & go into the world, I feel very lost & in a state of anxiety and chaos.”

This is evident in the photos that Lala posted to her Instagram Story in October. In one photo, Lala can be seen holding Sosa in the living room at her house, while wearing a football jersey. In another, Ocean can be seen standing independently, wearing all black and looking so serious. “She’s about her business today,” Lala noted in the caption of the photo.

But she also got in some super sweet group shots, too. In one photo, taken on Halloween, the family of three can be seen dressed as The Addams family with Lala as Morticia Addams, Sosa as Gomez Addams, and Ocean as Wednesday Addams. She also posted a photo of both daughters sitting in her lap, while her hairstylist, Maciel, attempted to do her hair. “It’s a lot,” Lala added in the caption of the post.
The trio later took a trip to Hawaii, and Lala shared beautiful photos of her hanging out with her daughters on the beach. “My little city girls learning about that Aloha,” she captioned the carousel of family photos.
Lala Kent opens up about having more kids in the future
Lala is not done with having children. In July, she spoke with Parents where she admitted that she would like to get pregnant within the next year. “I just don’t think I’m done,” she admitted. “I think I need one more. I am loving it so much that I’m not ready for the stages to be over as they pass.”

During a July 28 episode of her podcast, Lala admitted that she would be open to having a boy next spring. “I looked into this,” she said. “I was with a friend of mine, and she goes off of the Chinese gender calendar. And I told her, I said, ‘Next May is when I would like to get pregnant.’ She goes, ‘If you do conceive in May, you’ll have a boy’…I was, like, ‘Maybe I do…maybe I’m OK with a boy…’ And then we would call it a day.”
