Lala Kent’s “little dream baby” is growing up fast.
Just weeks after celebrating Sosa Kent’s first birthday, the Vanderpump Rules alum shared an exciting update on her little girl. Lala posted a short video of Sosa crawling up the home’s staircase while she followed closely behind, gently guiding her daughter with her hand.
“Hi!” Lala said as Sosa took a brief pause to look back. “You’re crushing it!”

The former SUR hostess — who is also a mom to 4-year-old daughter Ocean Kent Emmett — shared the moment just two months after revealing a stunning yet practical upgrade to her home’s staircase. Lala snapped a photo from her foyer while a couple of construction workers covered her stairs with carpet. The Utah native said she decided to make the change after a scary incident involving one of her dogs.

“The other day I heard thudding coming down the stairs. It was one of the Pitbulls sliding, aka falling, down the stairs,” she captioned the Instagram Story. “It broke my heart, & made me so terrified thinking if my kids fell down them. They were treacherous as just wood. So today, we installed carpet. Thanks to these guys, I’m feeling much better.”
Lala returned to Instagram a few minutes later to reveal the final results. The carpet appeared to feature a zig-zag pattern presented in charcoal and white. The neutral tones went well with the stairs’ light wooden treads, white risers, and glass railing. Lala also gave a special shoutout to Los Angeles-based interior decorator Megan Weaver, owner of Megan Weaver Design.

Lala moved into the Valley home in early 2024 after years of living in an LA-area apartment with Ocean. Months after moving into the property, Lala gave birth to Sosa.

While being a single mother of two is no easy feat, Lala has expressed interest in having a third child in the very near future. She spoke about her potential plans in a July interview with Parents magazine.
“I just don’t think I’m done. I think I need one more,” she told the outlet about her growing family. “I am loving it so much that I’m not ready for the stages to be over as they pass.”
Lala said she would prefer to get pregnant within the next year, as she wanted Sosa to be around 2 when baby No. 3 arrived.
“I think that’s a good age gap,” she explained. “I didn’t love that Ocean and Sosa are three and a half years apart. I like sticking to the two-and-a-half range. But you know what? The universe has a plan for me, and we just roll with it.”
