Lala Kent has nothing but love for Scheana Shay.
The Vanderpump Rules alum made this quite clear during a recent Amazon Live stream, amid growing speculation of a friendship rift. Those rumors began swirling back in late August, when Scheana claimed that some of her pals, including Lala, didn’t immediately promote her new memoir, My Good Side.
“I think it was like maybe a week after it came out, I saw [Lala] posted a slide [with the book],” Scheana said in the August 29 episode of her Scheananigans podcast. “There was nothing else that she posted. I had reached out to her a couple of days after all of the boxes were delivered. Because, yes, you do expect your closest friends to post and support.”
The “Good as Gold” artist went on to say that she and Lala were “still friends” and that their daughters remained close.

Scheana’s comments made numerous headlines, which were immediately brought to Lala’s attention. The Utah-born mom confessed that she hadn’t listened to the episode in question, but wanted to believe that Scheana had no ill intentions.

“I’ll just say Scheana Scheanas and I’m letting Scheana Scheana. I don’t know. I’m just here minding my own,” Lala said. “I’m going to talk about how I feel about Scheana. I don’t know where her head is at. Scheana is my friend. I love her. I love her family. She is like family to me. I am proud of her; I will say that over and over again because that’s what I mean, and that’s where my heart is.”
Lala continued: “I don’t know what she’s out saying. I’ve heard things that she’s talked about on her podcast. Did I listen? No, I didn’t listen. Was I sent little freakin’ headlines? Yes. Do I care? Not really… I’m sure there was no ill intent behind what she said on her podcast.”
Why didn’t Scheana Shay attend Sosa Kent’s first birthday party?
Lala dropped the update just days after hosting a birthday party for her 1-year-old daughter, Sosa Kent. Fans noticed that Scheana did not attend the “silly goose”-themed backyard bash, which, of course, fueled rumors of a feud. Lala confirmed that Scheana did, in fact, miss the party, but it wasn’t because of any beef.

“I love [Scheana]. Plain and simple,” Lala said. “She was not at Sosa’s birthday party. One of the reasons being that one of her family members [had] a baby shower in Las Vegas. She was invited. She was planning on coming.”
Lala said she, Sosa, and 4-year-old daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, visited Scheana in Palm Springs this month. She suggested the get-together was nothing short of pleasant, as their kids spent the afternoon swimming in Scheana’s pool.
“For me, all is good,” she concluded. “I love the girl. It is what it is.”
