Vanderpump Rules alums Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz are once again playing into the dating rumors about them.
On Sept. 28, former SUR hostess Lala shared a picture of herself arm in arm with Tom, a “soft launch” of their relationship, as she humorously captioned the Instagram Story. The pair smiled in their shades with the mountains in the background, a follow-up to when they jokingly announced a “hard launch” of their coupledom — only this time around, Lala stated their soft launch was “Like so soft it’s not even real, type soft.”
Elsewhere, in a Sept. 30 Amazon Live stream, she shared a more serious statement about the romance rumors. “Some people won’t let the Lala and Tom Schwartz thing go, and I just don’t see it happening,” she said. “He is one of my dearest friends, though. We’ve gotten very close over the past, I wanna say, year. He’s just a good dude.”
What’s more, “I think he may be talking to someone right now,” Lala added. “Not that that would matter. But he seems very happy.”

Rumors about the longtime costars dating began earlier this year, even though Tom said in July on his Detox Retox with Tom Schwartz podcast that he had “no clue where that rumor originated.”

The businessman joked, “If it’s on the internet, it’s true, right?” before laughing, “Is this a hard launch? This is a hard launch.” Later, he clarified in the comment section, “No, we are not dating.”
But, on Lala’s birthday earlier this month, Tom once again leaned into circulating whispers when posting a snap of Lala, wishing a Happy Birthday to his “imaginary internet GF.”
The rumors weren’t reserved for online chatter, either. They reached into the Bravosphere, where VPR’s Scheana Shay entered the chat.

On the July 4 episode of her Scheananigans with Scheana podcast, the friend of The Valley said she didn’t think there was “any truth” to the Lala-Tom dating rumors. Or, as she called it, “the tea.”
Said Scheana, “I can tell you this. If they’re secretly dating, they’re secretly dating from me because I have heard this only online. So as far as I know, there is no truth to this.”

Interestingly, Lala admitted on the June 23 episode of her former Give Them Lala podcast that fans recognized their on-screen “chemistry.”
Explained Lala, “Can I tell you, Schwartzy, we got this so much [Vanderpump Rules] Season 11 … And I didn’t realize it because I avoid the comment section, but it was every time I went on a podcast or anything like that. People always said that … We talked about it. I feel like I would be way too high-strung and intense for you.”
The single mother admitted on an Amazon Live stream that perhaps she was too much of a homebody for Tom, too. As she put it, “I was like, if Schwartz liked to go out a little bit or a lot of bit less, and I liked to go out a lot of bit more, who knows?”
