Lauren Wirkus’ life today looks just a little bit different from when she was on Summer House Seasons 1 and 2.Â
The Summer House alum appeared on the first two seasons of the show (alongside her twin, Ashley Wirkus McAtee), where she met and started dating fellow cast member Carl Radke. But, after breaking up for good, Lauren moved on and ended up marrying the love of her life, David Raih, in 2020.
The California native and her NFL coach husband have since become the parents to two adorable children — 4-year-old daughter, Goldie Raih, and 2-year-old son, Rockford Raih. And in June, they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.
Lauren took to Instagram on June 28, where she documented their anniversary celebration. The parents of two got dressed up to dine at La Grande Boucherie in Washington D.C., where they celebrated the last five years of marriage. And, at the end of the night, were greeted at home by their two adorable kids.
She also took to Instagram a day earlier, where she posted a photo of them from their California wedding. “A half a decade down forever to go,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “[David Raih], I’d choose you again and again!!!!!!!!!!! ILYSM.”
Where does Lauren Wirkus live today?
Lauren and her family currently live in the “DMV,” according to her Instagram profile, or the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area of the United States. This is because David is a tight end coach for the Washington Commanders, and their family takes football very seriously.
Lauren took to Instagram on Sept. 8, where posted a photo of her posing next to David on the football field at the Commanders’ first home game (which they won).
“I’ve been on a journey with him and his football career,” she told Us Weekly in June. “We’ve actually lived in four different states [Arizona, Tennessee, Florida, and Virginia] since we’ve been together.”

This fall has also ushered in new adventures for Lauren and the kids, as her children are now officially in pre-school. Lauren took to Instagram on Sept. 5, where she posted photos at home, documenting her little ones’ very exciting morning, which included eating doughnuts for breakfast.

Yes, Lauren and Ashley are still closer than ever. Although Ashley currently lives in Tennessee, the twins still share a close bond and see each other when they can.Â

In May, Lauren, Ashley, their other sister, Rachel, and their mom went to Paris, where they dined, shopped, and got to take in the beautiful sights. “Sisters, Mom, and the City of Love = memories that we will always treasure forever,” they wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.

Like her twin sister, Ashley is married and has two kids of her own. Ashley is currently married to her husband, Brad McAtee, and are the parents to two children — 6-year-old son, Dean McAtee, and 3-year-old son, Cole McAtee.Â
The family of four moved to Nashville in June. “Country music has always been a part of our story, thanks to baseball life, and now we’re officially putting our boots on and moving to the south!” Ashley wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, documenting their move. “We’ve dreamed of more space, a slower pace, and a sweet place for our boys to grow up, and we’re so grateful that dream is now here.”
The mom of two also currently owns an Uptown Cheapskate franchise in Carlsbad, California.Â
Ashley also spoke to Us Weekly in June about her business. “It’s been a labor of love,” she admitted. “The first few years were obviously very rough starting a new business, and then COVID hit, but I powered through and stuck it out, and I’ve had my business eight years and counting. It’s doing better every year, which is amazing.”

Lauren appeared on the first two seasons of Summer House, while Ashley was a full time cast member on Season 1 and made guest appearances on Season 2. The twins definitely made an impression, especially Lauren, who was heavily involved with Carl before they broke up and ultimately agreed to be just friends.

“A lot of what people have watched on our show is us fighting or us having these ups and downs, but we’ve had a lot of fun together,” Carl told The Daily Dish in 2019. “How I handled myself in dating her and not dating her, I definitely regret a little bit of how I behaved. I chalked that up to a lot of just immaturity on my end. Also, I think, just my communication skills with her, I struggled really to be honest with how I felt.”
Would Lauren and Ashley Wirkus ever return to TV?
They haven’t ruled it out just yet. “We never say never,” Lauren told Us Weekly.
“We would have to do it together,” Ashley added.
“I would have to have my family,” Lauren noted. “The best part of Summer House was filming with my sister.”
