Lisa Barlow didn’t need poster boards to provide new clarity on the status of the lawsuits she was facing on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6.
When she stopped by the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse on Oct. 28, host Andy Cohen read a viewer-submitted question that asked if all four lawsuits had officially been “dismissed” in court.
“Yes, and I just want to clear up a few things,” Lisa responded. “They’re civil lawsuits; they’re not criminal. I’ve never done anything criminal. Everyone online that keeps saying I’m going to jail is wrong.”
That’s when Andy brought up Lisa’s clarity lunch from RHOSLCÂ Season 6, Episode 3.
“I cleared up a lot at the clarity lunch,” she continued. “It’s the commitment to listening and asking the same question over and over and over again. That was the problem. I had cute posters, a great outfit… I mean, it went on and on and on for a long time.”
Lisa Barlow’s lawsuits, explained
ICYMI: Lisa hosted her RHOSLC castmates for a lunch amid chatter about her multiple legal issues. In lieu of traditional decor, she decked out the room with posters showing redacted court documents that she’d emblazoned with the word “DISMISSED” in bright red font.
Referring to the lawsuits as “fanciful tales,” she explained to the ladies. “People can sue you for anything. You can allege anything. So, I figured, like, I’m gonna have a little lunch and we’re gonna talk about the allegations versus facts.”

Lisa admitted that the lawsuits were legit and related to her allegedly not repaying a business loan. However, she categorically denied all legal claims against her. At the time, she said that only one of the four lawsuits was even still pending and insisted that the lone remaining case had “absolutely no merit to it.”
“No one in this group understands that when you’re running big business and you do really cool things, at some point, you’re going to get sued,” Lisa elaborated to a producer. “It’s not something I’m afraid of. It’s not something I’m worried about.”
She continued, “We are lawyered up. We have more than six. We have a lawyer for everything. We cross our T’s with lawyers, we dot our I’s with lawyers. I’m still fabulous and I’m fine.”
How the RHOSLC cast reacted to Lisa Barlow’s legal issues
Despite her presentation, some of Lisa’s castmates still didn’t believe that her so-called evidence actually proved her innocence. As Whitney Rose pointed out, Lisa’s “exhibits” appeared to show only that she was denying that allegations, not that they’d actually been disproven in court.
“What does this clarify?” Whitney asked. “This doesn’t prove anything, Lisa.”
Meredith Marks, meanwhile, defended Lisa in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, echoing much of what was discussed at the clarity lunch.

“I mean, look, we’re talking about a civil lawsuit, and anybody can file that,” Meredith, who holds a law degree, pointed out. “So, it doesn’t really carry very much weight, in my view. … [These are] private individuals bringing these suits.”
As she concluded, “Borrowing money is part of doing business. It’s not an abnormal thing. Clearly, there was a disagreement over it. And, you know, people can file whatever they want to file. …Â Â But these are accusations.”
With those lawsuits now apparently out of the way, find out how Lisa responded to accusations she leaked negative stories about her RHOSLC castmates to the media.
