Lisa Hochstein Reveals the Real Reason She Unfollowed Marcus

How to Watch

The Real Housewives of Miami After Show airs on Thursdays. Watch on BravoTV.com or Peacock.

The Real Housewives of Miami‘s Lisa Hochstein finally unfollowed Larsa Pippen’s ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, on social media — but not for the reason you may think.

After removing herself from Marcus’ Instagram followers list during Season 2, Episode 12, Lisa opened up more about her “emotional,” long-awaited decision on The Real Housewives of Miami After Show.

Said decision, of course, came after the cast caught wind in Seville, Spain that Lisa was still refusing to unfollow Marcus, and several of the ladies called her out.

So, citing what was in the best interest of the cast’s overall dynamic, Lisa explained in the above After Show clip that she simply didn’t want to have “a dark cloud over the group” after her and Larsa’s intense feud reignited in a major way.

“I’m like, ‘Who cares?’ Unfollow,” Lisa elaborated. “I didn’t do it for Larsa; I did it for everybody else to have peace.”

She had hit the unfollow button in the presence of Guerdy Abraira, Kiki Barth, and Adriana de Moura, and afterward, they made a pact to keep the information a secret. As for why Lisa wanted to keep that info under wraps, she told an After Show producer that she wanted to see how Larsa “would naturally react.”

Despite their pinky-promise to not say anything, Adriana spilled the beans to Larsa — and everyone else — during a group dinner on Episode 12.

“We’re so past that,” Larsa responded. “Like, Adriana, that’s the bare minimum.”

She had plenty more to say on the RHOM After Show, adding, “[Lisa is] just doing it because everyone’s telling her to do it. I feel like she’s getting pressure from all the women to do it. So, it’s like she’s not really doing it for me. She’s doing it because she knows she’s in the wrong, and everyone’s telling her that.”

When a producer asked Larsa what more she wanted from Lisa, she continued, “I don’t know, just have a conversation with me and just basically make me feel like you care about me and my feelings and that you’re my friend.”

As she concluded, “I definitely think she would still have followed him, if she could.”

How Lisa Hochstein was “convinced” to unfollow Larsa Pippen’s ex-boyfriend

Between Lisa’s aforementioned explanation and Guerdy pointing out on the After Show that she and Adriana were among those who “convinced” her to unfollow Marcus, Larsa’s theories on her onetime close friend’s motives weren’t totally wrong either.

During RHOM‘s August 21 episode, Guerdy had broached the subject during an outing while the women were split into two groups. “I know that you are not ready to unfollow Marcus. And I know it’s so stupid,” Guerdy began. “I just think that it is the factor that has escalated everything.”

Lisa, meanwhile, accused Larsa of being “very aggressive” in her approach, echoing her earlier explanation for still following Marcus: “She’s not the boss of me. I’m not gonna let her tell me what to do.”

That’s when Adriana stepped in to acknowledge how Lisa might see unfollowing Marcus as handing Larsa a win. “At the same time, I feel like you’re empowering her because she’s using that to [turn] the whole group against you,” she added.

With Guerdy in agreement, Lisa pulled out her phone and announced she was “gonna do it,” while still expressing confusion over why it was a “big thing,” in the first place.

“This doesn’t mean that you have to engage with her anymore,” Guerdy noted, while Kiki quipped in a confessional, “I think I see pigs flying.”
