Lisa Hochstein is “officially divorced” from her ex-husband, Dr. Lenny Hochstein. The Real Housewives of Miami cast member shares two young children with the Miami plastic surgeon, and is giving a new look at where they stand today as they co-parent their kids.
Lisa appeared on the podcast, Two T’s in a Pod, earlier this month, where she offered a look inside her life now that she is no longer married to Lenny. “I’m officially divorced,” she explained. “But the divorce is never really over when you have kids.”
The Canadian-born entrepreneur admitted that she and her ex are doing “a little better” today. “But it’s not great, and I don’t think, I don’t know if we will ever be friends,” she continued.
Around Mother’s Day, Lisa even shared some insight into how she and her ex balance raising their two kids as they navigate parental duties. On the podcast, Lisa admitted that she tries to keep things together for their son, Logan, and their daughter, Elle. “My goal is to just be a good co-parent with him because ultimately, that’s all I care about,” she noted on the podcast. “The kids and their well-being.”

But, she revealed that “there’s no love” between her and Lenny anymore. “I hope for the kids’ sake, the kids want us to be friends,” she said. “It would just be better for everybody.”

In a recent Instagram post, Lisa opened up about her life as a mom and paid tribute to her two kids: “My greatest accomplishment will always be being their mom. I feel beyond blessed to have these 2 by my side. I’m the luckiest mommy on the planet.”

But, Lisa and Lenny’s divorce served as the inspiration for her business, Splitwell — an app that helps couples navigate their separation and divorce without breaking the bank. “My divorce was incredibly messy and very public, and I wish I had these tools back then,” she said on the podcast. “It would have saved me hundreds of thousands of dollars. Thousands. It was like another full-time job.”
The app provides recommendations for lawyers, provides an advocate to help de-escalate conversations, and helps analyze documents throughout the divorce. Lisa and Lenny had originally filed for divorce in May 2022 after more than a decade of marriage under their belts, with the proceedings nearly taking two years to finalize.
“Getting divorced in the way I did, at least in [the way] a lot of women do, is like a full-time job,” she continued. “It just takes up your energy, your money, all of your free time, and usually the outcome is the same, and then you’re spending six figures sometimes on these divorces.”
Lisa’s boyfriend, Jody Glidden, whom she has been dating for two years, played a role in helping develop the app. “Jody is the tech expert,” she shared on the podcast. “He’s been my mentor. He’s one of the investors. I’m no expert at all, and now I feel like I know a lot, obviously, because it’s my business.”
“Thank God, Jody knows he has five successful tech companies, so he knows the right people,” she added.

But even when they’re not working on the app together, Jody, who has a 16-year-old daughter from his previous marriage, and Lisa are so happy. “He loves my kids,” she shared. “My kids love him. I actually adore his ex-wife, his ex-wife of 14 years and her husband…it’s really such a modern family and it’s so healthy.”
“Because so many people are divorced, I feel like I’m setting a good example, and I’m happy that the kids get to see this example when they’re with me,” she added.
