Lisa Vanderpump has offered more insight into her recent encounter with Kyle Richards.
Among the many highlights at BravoCon 2025 was Kyle’s amusing anecdote about her unexpected run-in with her former friend Lisa. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member revealed she had seen Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, at the Beverly Hills Hotel but wasn’t quite sure if the couple had also spotted her. Well, we now have our answer.
Why Lisa Vanderpump didn’t speak to Kyle Richards during hotel encounter
“Actually, it’s true,” Lisa confirmed to Us Weekly. “We were in the Polo Lounge the other day, and it was crowded. And I did see her over there.”
Lisa explained she had no interest in chatting with her ex-castmate, with whom she had a massive fallout in RHOBH Season 9.
“I didn’t want to get into [it],” she said when asked why she didn’t speak to Kyle. “You know, I was with people.”

Kyle recalled the incident during a November 16 BravoCon panel with her sister Kathy Hilton. The Housewife told the audience she saw Ken and Lisa at the iconic California hotel and immediately began questioning her next move.

“The other night, I was at the Beverly Hills Hotel… and I saw Ken and Lisa,” Kyle explained. “And I sat there, and I thought, ‘Well, what should I do?’ You know, because it always doesn’t go well when we see each other in person. So, we both kinda… maybe she did see me, maybe she didn’t — but as he was leaving, I said, ‘Goodbye, Ken!’”
Kyle was, of course, referencing Ken’s often-quoted line from Season 9, Episode 8, titled “Showdown at Villa Rosa.” The episode documented Kyle’s heated exchange with Lisa, whom she accused of leaking the infamous “puppy-gate” story to the press. After Lisa adamantly denied the allegations, Ken chimed in with a stern, “Goodbye, Kyle!” as he and Lisa left the scene.

Kyle told the BravoCon audience she wasn’t sure if Ken had heard her funny farewell, but she “just had to do” it.
Lisa told Us Weekly neither she nor Ken caught Kyle’s goodbye.
“No, and I don’t think anybody else did either,” she confirmed. “So, whatever.”
Lisa Vanderpump reveals where she stands with her fellow RHOBH alums
Elsewhere in the interview, Lisa shared a quick update on where she stands with some of her fellow RHOBH alums. She said she still sees Camille Grammer Meyer from time to time and they “always embrace,” but she couldn’t say the same for Lisa Rinna.
“I had the luxury of sitting down opposite Lisa Rinna last night,” Lisa Vanderpump revealed, “just surprisingly, just 6 feet away from me.”
So, how did Lisa Vanderpump react when she saw her former friend?
“I’m like, ‘Oh my god,” she recalled. “Just like, ‘Hello. Oh no.”

Lisa Vanderpump then touched on her relationship with Garcelle Beauvais, who announced her shocking exit from the RHOBH back in March.
“I love Garcelle,” she said. “Garcelle is just a decent human being. I felt sad for her, the way she kind of left not on the most positive note. I think she’s wonderful.”
