There’s nothing like a good cause to bring old friends together.
On Saturday, October 4, Madison LeCroy reunited with Southern Charm alum Naomie Olindo for the Applause for Paws Gala — an annual black-tie charity event benefiting the Charleston Animal Society. Madison teased the function in a couple of Instagram Stories in which she showed off her stunning evening look. The South Carolina mom stepped out in a sage Norma Kamali belted maxi dress, a matching acrylic clutch from Cult Gaia, and a pair of Sam Edelman platform sandals in dark beige.

“It’s the Applause for Paws [event]. Super exciting,” she said during her car ride to the Charleston Gaillard Center. “I just got ready. I actually feel like a human right now. I love this dress, by the way… If you want my hair, you’ll just have to come to my new salon.”

Madison went on to share several photos and videos of the Emerald City-themed event, where she was a guest of the platinum sponsor Ella Ora Skin Therapy Clinic. She posted a shot of her dinner table, a red-carpet moment, as well as footage of Naomie’s speech.
How Naomie Olindo uses her platform for a good cause
As seen on Instagram, Naomie attended the gala alongside her boyfriend, Billy Haire. The Charleston resident donned a gorgeous emerald cowl neck gown with Nicole Rose jewelry. She credited her hair and makeup to Mac McAbee and Julien Nicolas, respectively.
“It was my honor to be your chair and witness SO much generosity in that room,” she captioned an October 5 Instagram carousel. “Because of you, these animals’ lives are changed for good.
As a fur mom and longtime animal advocate, Naomie has become a prominent supporter of the Charleston Animal Society. The French-born businesswoman has regularly used her platform to promote the organization’s 150-year-plus mission to prevent animal cruelty.

“In my perfect world, I would be able to fight animal cruelty and advocate for no-kill shelters full time,” she said in a previous interview with Curtsy. “I wanted to be a vet when I was little, but gave up the dream when I learned vets had to put down animals too. Charleston Animal Society is an awesome non-profit and no-kill organization that even takes animals in from other shelters. What people don’t know about other shelters is that most do kill animals that have been there too long, and some are also run for profit. It’s important to do your research and also.”
Naomie Olindo & boyfriend, Billy Haire, introduce their newest family member
Naomie expanded her fur family over the past year, welcoming not one but two new dogs into her home. Last November, she introduced the world to Olive, a Labrador retriever she adopted from Lowcountry Lab Rescue.
In July, she and Billy began fostering an adorable dog named Gus; however, the couple quickly became attached to the brindle pooch and decided to keep him permanently. Since then, Naomie has shared frequent updates on the “foster fail,” including peeks at his dynamic with Olive and Naomie’s cat, Omlete.
