Andy Cohen can add hairstyling to his long list of dad talents.
On Sunday, September 28, the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host took to Instagram to unveil the recent hairdo he gave to his 3-year-old daughter, Lucy Cohen. The Story showed the little girl with her back toward the camera while rocking adorable pigtail braids with nylon hair ties. Although he was seemingly satisfied with his work, Andy wanted a second opinion. And who better to weigh in than hair/beauty maven Madison LeCroy?
“[Madison] how’d I do?” Andy captioned the photo.
The Southern Charm mom reshared the post on her Instagram along with a quick but positive review: “So proud [Andy].”

Just weeks after welcoming Lucy via surrogacy, Andy dished on how happy he was to become a girl-dad. He told Entertainment Tonight that he had already learned how to braid hair and was eager to try different styles on his daughter.

“It’s exciting! I’m already looking at her, trying to think of how I want to do her hair,” he told the outlet. “I have a lot of ideas that I’m workshopping… I’ve got the greatest up-close view of hairdos every night on Watch What Happens Live! I talk to the hair and makeup people every night at my show.”

In November 2022, Andy returned to Instagram to showcase the precious topknot he gave to his then 6-month-old daughter.

“I am feeling really bullish about this Pebbles hairdo,” he said in an Instagram video, referring to the fictional Flintstones character. “It’s so easy to do, and it’s fashion with the bow. It’s really good. I mean, I know this is the oldest hairdo in time, but this is going to be fun doing her hair.”

Lucy arrived about three years after Andy welcomed his son, Ben Allen Cohen, who was also born via surrogacy. Although he no longer shows Ben’s face on social media, the father of two provides regular peeks at their sweet and often funny dynamic.
Hours before unveiling Lucy’s braided hairdo, Andy shared another amusing update on his 6-year-old boy.
“Here’s a new one: my son yelling, ‘Service, service,’ to get me to come throw out a wrapper for him,” Andy said in a video. “I’m not a waiter. What the hell?”
