Madison and her husband, Brett Randle, welcomed Teddi on June 29, weeks before Madison’s expected due date. The South Carolina native said Teddi, who was born via C-section at just 34 weeks, had to spend “a few days” in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), as it was hospital protocol for premature babies.

Teddi was still in the NICU as of Monday, July 8; however, Madison reassured fans that her baby was “on the right track.”

“Update on baby Teddi: She’s still in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and we’re still here with her, but she’s doing great,” Madison wrote in a July 8 Instagram Story. “Taking her bottles, gaining weight, and right on track for where she should be. Our little preemie angel is getting stronger every day… we can’t wait to bring her home.”

Shortly after her 48-hour labor journey, Madison shared more details about baby Teddi’s birth. She told Us Weekly that her baby girl was “only five pounds” but was “breathing on her own.”

“[She] hasn’t needed any oxygen or anything like that,” Madison said. “She’s kind of a little trooper. [Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, ‘Oh, I wasn’t shocked at all.’”

Madison also showed off a beautiful baby banner she received from Olive Branch Embroidery, an Alabama-based company providing custom embroidery and monogram services.

“Thank you [Olive Branch Embroider] for the sweetest sign for Teddi,” Madison captioned the Instagram Story. “It’s absolutely beautiful and means so much.”
