Madison LeCroy’s teenage boy, Hudson, didn’t rest on his laurels. Just a year after making his school’s A-B honor roll, the Southern Charm son upped his academic performance and received a more coveted, prestigious accolade: a spot on the All-A honor roll.
Madison announced the achievement in a Thursday, January 8 Instagram Story, which she filmed from Hudson’s bedroom. The South Carolina native explained she was helping her boy select an outfit for the honor roll ceremony the following day.

“So, we are in Hudson’s room picking out his clothes for tomorrow’s award show, because Hudson is on All-A honor roll,” she said while sitting on his bed. “So, we’re giving good-looking, all right? But most importantly, genius.”
Hudson proceeded to pull out a few options as Madison shared her thoughts.
“No sweatshirts. No linen in the winter,” she said. “Let me come up with something…”
Madison returned to Instagram a few minutes later to show off the look she and her son put together.
“All right, Hudson, all the aunts want to see. What did you pick?” she asked while Hudson stood in the background. The teen had selected a pair of dark pants and a matching button-up layered over a crisp-white crew neck.
“Ooooh! Bustin’!” Madison said as her son showed off his ‘fit. “What’s the word? Tough? Teach me the terminology. That’s, uh, drip.”
“Drip?” Hudson asked.
“Is that right? Six-Seven,” she said with a laugh.

Madison stopped by Hudson’s school the next day to watch the honor roll ceremony. She posted a video of the 13-year-old walking across a stage, receiving his award, and shaking hands with a few members of the faculty. Madison also shared photos of Hudson showing his purple ribbon emblazoned with “‘A’ Honor Roll.”
“All A Honor Roll, but more importantly, a good human,” she captioned the January 9 carousel. “I’m so proud of the young man you’re becoming it makes me emotional. You amaze me every single day, Hudson. I Love you!”

Madison, who shares Hudson with her ex-husband, shed more light on her parenting style on the Southern Charm After Show while addressing her ambitious house renovations. She said she wanted to make her backyard feel like a resort so that Hudson would want to stay home instead of going out.
“I want my teenage son to stay home, meaning bring everyone (his friends) there, versus go to the house parties elsewhere,” she explained, before revealing he’s already hosted small get-togethers. “Just started last week. The girls are sneaking in, as of two weeks ago. He comes to me, and he goes, ‘Hey, mom, I’m having four of the boys over; we’re gonna have some girls over.’ I said, ‘OK, totally fine.’ It’s 10 [p.m.]. When are they coming? He goes, ‘Oh, they’re gonna come a little later.’ I was like, ‘Hudson, so you mean to tell me these girls are sneaking out?’ He said, ‘Yes.'”
Madison immediately told her son that she refused to take any blame if the girls got caught.
“I don’t know anything. If their moms come for me, I’m gonna be like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe you did that,'” she joked.
A producer then asked if Hudson had his first kiss.
“Not that I know of,” Madison replied. “I told him that if he kisses a girl, he’s gonna get a Teddi. I think that scared him.”

Teddi, of course, is the baby girl Madison and her husband, Brett Randle, welcomed in 2025. The mother of two said she had yet to have “the talk” with Hudson, but had an idea of how she would approach the big moment.

“I was just gonna Google STDs online and show him what could happen,” she said. “I’m very extreme… pray for me.”
