Madison Marshall Arrested in North Carolina After Abandoning 7-Month-Old in Indiana’ Authorities are searching for a missing Oklahoma toddler after her mother, who took her and her 7-month-old brother to Indiana in January, was arrested in North Carolina.

Oaklee Mae Snow, 2, was last seen on February 9, The Oklahoman reported. She is described as 2 feet tall and about 40 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Investigators say that Oaklee’s mother, 22-year-old Madison Marshall, took the little girl to Indianapolis on January 19, travelling with her baby brother, Coleton, and Roan Waters, Marshall’s 25-year-old boyfriend, who has family in Indiana, the Indianapolis Star reported.

Coleton was found abandoned in Indiana and returned to his father, Zachary Snow.

Waters was arrested on March 3 in Colorado on warrants from Oklahoma charging him with child abuse and domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor, The Oklahoman said. Waters reported told detectives the two children, he, and Marshall drove to Indianapolis, where they stayed in a “trap house” while they did drugs, a probable cause affidavit said.

Waters said they decided to abandon Coleton and leave with Oaklee. A family member picked up Coleton and gave him to the Indiana Department of Child Services.

Seminole County Sheriff’s Office investigator J.T. Palmer told KFOR that witnesses saw the toddler being carried out of a “crack house” on February 9.

“They described it as she was either asleep or unconscious. She wasn’t moving,” said Palmer. “She was wrapped in a blanket.”

There was some information saying that Oaklee may have had a medical emergency, but no hospital in the area has a record of the girl.

“We do not know where she’s at,” Palmer said. “We just know that she did not make it to the hospital that night.”

Waters would not say where the little girl could be found, the court records say. He is being held in Arapahoe County on a fugitive charge pending extradition to Oklahoma.

Marshall was arrested in Harnett County, North Carolina, on March 23 after the sheriff’s office there received an anonymous tip. She is also being held on a fugitive charge pending extradition.

Anyone with information should contact the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 317-327-6160, or call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
