Magician duo featured on ‘Masters of Illusion’ indicted on child exploitation charge



BRANSON, Mo. (TCN) — Two magicians have been indicted on a count of sexual exploitation of a minor. 

KLIS reports Garry Carson and Janine Carson are facing a federal charge, according to court documents filed in the Western District of Missouri. 

Prosecutors allege the couple coerced and persuaded a female minor, whose name has not been released, to engage in explicit acts on camera and video between January 2023 and June 2025.

According to Yahoo!, the couple appeared on the television series “Masters of Illusion” and performed more than 8,000 shows, including on cruise ships, international tours, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and dinner theaters in Branson, Missouri. According to their website, the couple has won several local and national awards.
