Margaret Josephs is feeling especially “blessed” these days — and it’s thanks in large part to her husband’s steady health.
While speaking to The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member offered a positive update on Joe Benigno, her longtime hubby, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023.
“Joe’s feeling great. His cancer has not changed. Not advanced at all,” Margaret confirmed. “So, he gets checked regularly. He’s feeling great. He just had a very big birthday. He just turned 70 the day before we left for BravoCon. Do you believe he’s 70? He looks unbelievable… BravoCon is his birthday party.”

Joe’s cancer diagnosis was explored in RHONJ Season 14, after blood tests confirmed he had elevated PSA (prostate-specific antigen) levels. Subsequent examinations confirmed Joe had a cancerous prostate tumor, which left him with multiple treatment options. After discussing a plan of action with his wife and physicians, Joe ultimately decided it was in his best interest to forgo surgery and/or radiation, as the cancer appeared to be stagnant.
Margaret addressed the decision during her August 2024 appearance on the Taste of Taylor podcast, explaining why her husband chose to live with the tumor instead of getting it removed.

“A lot of people are like, ‘Just get it out,’ [but] the treatment’s much worse,” she said. “If you get it out, you do have other issues… It is extremely curable but with a lot of side effects.”
Margaret said Joe’s tumor had “not changed at all,” but he goes in for regular check-ups to ensure there are no other issues.
“They said it might not grow for 10 years, so they just check him every few months,” she said.

2025 has proven to be a celebratory year for Margaret and Joe. Just days before heading to Las Vegas for BravoCon 2025, the couple announced the newest member of their family. The couple posted a November 13 Instagram post, in which they were seen holding a baby family member.

“My oldest stepson just had a baby,” the self-proclaimed “glamma” told The Daily Dish. “It’s amazing. So happy. Cutest little baby. Brought a lot of joy to the family. Everything’s great. We’ve been very blessed.”
Margaret Josephs reveals what’s next for her career
In addition to her wife and “glamma” duties, Margaret has remained busy with her business empire. The entrepreneur confirmed she was still making moves with her Candie Couture cosmetics line, and was preparing to resume Soirée, a drink company she launched with her creative director/assistant, Lexi Barbuto.
“You know, listen, Soirée is what we’re hustling for,” Margaret said. “Lexi and I, we took a tiny little break because of the tariffs; we had issues with the cans. We’re coming out with a new flavor, a coffee flavor. We’re just really hustling for that… So we have a lot of things happening.”
