The Married to Medicine midseason trailer for Season 12 is just what the doctor ordered.Â
The explosive sneak peek, which you can check out above, features the cast — Toya Bush Harris, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, Dr. Mimi Sanders, Dr. Jackie Walters, Quad Webb, and Dr. Simone Whitmore, along with friends Angel Love Davis, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, and Brandi Milton — balancing friend and family drama with a healthy dose of laughter.

Dr. Heavenly Kimes cries over her estranged son, Damon Jr.
As Dr. Heavenly struggles to process the falling out with her son Damon Kimes Jr. after finding out about his 2023 arrest on social media, she gets a strong show of support from the ladies.
“Not knowing where your baby is has gotta be one of the most painful things,” Dr. Jackie tells a tearful Heavenly, as the cast rallies around her. “We know you’re hurting.”

The poignant show of sisterhood doesn’t completely erase Heavenly’s friendship drama within the group, however, particularly with Toya and Dr. Simone.
In a separate moment, for example, Simone explains, “She doesn’t wanna be around me for safety,” before adding in a confessional, “I could kick my own ass for trusting Heavenly again.”
Later, Heavenly, for her part, vents, “It’s my word against hers. She snapped, she was unhinged.”
Quad Webb’s “tough” IVF journey with King takes a dramatic turn
Miss Quad, meanwhile, has her own tearful moment, when she laments, “This IVF process, it has been tough.”

Elsewhere, Dr. Jackie’s husband, Curtis Berry, stirs up drama when he tells Quad’s boyfriend, King, “The complications that could be in the way of having a kid: You’re not married. In the Bible, that’s a no-no.”
Quad later vents that Curtis is trying “to nail us to the cross,” prompting King to chime in, “Is he a saint? Who is he to judge?”

The group, including their husbands, appear stunned when newbie Angel debriefs them on Toya’s behavior in front of her longtime friend and date, Dr. Bernard Ashby, at Heavenly’s mac and cheese cookoff.
“So, Toya says, ‘Who is this guy? You told me to hook you up with another guy.’ — in front of him!” she recaps, as one of the men declares from off camera, “Damn!”
When Angel’s plus-one shows up at another event, asking if they have “room for one more,” Toya explains in a joint confessional with Dr. Eugene Harris, “I had no clue that she was inviting Bernard.”
After Dr. Jackie ask Toya to “talk about the Med Gala,” in another moment, a separate clip rolls showing a fired-up Heavenly claim to the latter, “Jackie said you were so difficult to work with and very unprofessional.”
Finally, Dr. Jackie speaks for herself, remarking, “These two ladies are sucking the life out of us.”
The Married to Med cast travels to Jamaica
There are plenty of fun and games to look forward too, including a cast trip to Jamaica and plenty other NSFW girl talk.
“We in the club and we lit,” Dr. Simone exclaims in a joint confessional with Cecil Whitmore, as snippets from their wild getaway flash in the sneak peek.
While reading from a card in another moment, Dr. Contessa prompts the ladies to share a “funny sex story,” and Angel does not disappoint.
Dr. Jackie also leads the group in a shady pop-the-balloon game, appearing to playfully target the cast member who “is always checking the energy of the group but never her own.”
