Married Wisconsin Couple Found Shot Dead in Vehicle, Days Before First Wedding Anniversary – Crime Online

A Wisconsin couple is dead after police say they were located inside a vehicle earlier this month with gunshot wounds.

According to FOX News Digital, police found Rachel Dumovich, 29, and Brandon Dumovich, 30, deceased on October 6, after an officer noticed an abandoned vehicle in Harvard, Illinois, in the 700 block of North Division Street.

The Harvard Police Department said that law enforcement located a gun inside the vehicle, which had its hazard lights activated. Both victims were found with gunshot wounds, with Rachel in the driver’s seat and Brandon in a passenger seat.

Roads were initially closed until police “determined there was no ongoing threat to the community,”

Hours before her death, Rachel posted on Facebook, reportedly about their upcoming honeymoon, saying, “Forever chasing sunsets. Wishing we were back in Greece.”

According to the wedding website, The Knot, the couple had been days away from celebrating their first anniversary. The profile also indicated that they were “middle school sweethearts.”

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Harvard Police Department at (815) 943-4431. To remain anonymous, contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at (815) 943-4343 or email [email protected].
