Mauricio Umansky made Kyle Richards cry on Alexia Umansky’s wedding day for the sweetest reason. Although The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple is currently separated, they reunited for their daughter’s Sept. 6 wedding day, which was an emotional affair for everyone.
Alexia took to Instagram on Sept. 9, where she posted a video of Mauricio seeing her before she had her first look with her now-husband, Jake Zingerman. Her dad walked in on his daughter, already in her wedding dress, where they hugged one another and exchanged some tears. “Dad, don’t make me cry,” Alexia exclaimed, as Mauricio kissed her shoulder.
“You look like a princess,” he said.
“Whew! No crying before my first look,” Alexia remarked, as he spun her around in a circle. “I love you, dad.”
Kyle was on hand to witness it all, also crying as they interacted. She made sure not to mess up her makeup, blotting her eyes as Mauricio and Alexia walked away from one another.
“I didn’t expect my dad to walk into the room, especially with his eyes full of tears,” Alexia wrote in the caption of the post. “For a moment, time went still. A moment I’ll cherish forever.”
Alexia Umansky reveals new insight into Kyle and Mauricio’s dynamic today
Kyle and Mauricio didn’t just reunite at the wedding; they also reunited the evening before. After her wedding, Alexia took to her Instagram Story, where she revealed that she spent the night before her wedding at her family home in Encino, along with her sisters: Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, Sophia Umansky, and Portia Umansky. Her dad also stayed over (Mauricio has since moved out of his own place amid his separation from Kyle).

“We had a huge sleepover actually,” she wrote. “I slept in my mom’s bed with her and our dog Luna. My dad and Farrah stayed and joined the sleepover too. Sophia and Portia of course. It was a full house.”
How Alexia Umansky paid tribute to Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s 1996 wedding
Alexia really involved both of her parents on her wedding day. In addition to letting her mom help plan her wedding, and dancing with her dad at her wedding, she took inspiration from their January 1996 wedding. This is extra special because Kyle was pregnant with Alexia at the wedding and gave birth to her five months later in June.
Alexia told People on Sept. 7 that she chose to wear the same nail polish color, “ballet slippers,” that Kyle wore at her wedding, and carry a bouquet of roses to make her “feel extra special.” “I know it’s very cool to do some unique flowers and whatnot for a bouquet, but my mom held roses on her wedding day, and I wanted to do an ode to that on my wedding day,” she said.

“Using roses is not revolutionary by any means, but I want it to feel like I am carrying on something, whether it’s big or small,” she added.
