The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Mauricio Umansky has so much love for his parents — mom, Estella Snieder, and dad, Eduardo Umansky. Mauricio has stated time and time again about how much he respects his parents, and reiterated this sentiment on Eduardo’s birthday.
Mauricio took to Instagram on Aug. 25, where he posted a series of vintage photos of him and his father. The Agency founder took to the caption of the post, where he penned such a sweet tribute to his dad and it shared an update on their father-son bond today. “Happy belated birthday to the best father in the world,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “A man that taught me so much. A great man that brings life and happiness to every room and always puts others happiness first. Love you dad.”
In the pics, Mauricio can be seen smiling as a baby alongside his dad, hanging out with him in a classic car, hanging out with him as a kid, and attending an event together in his older years. Mauricio also posted some hilarious photos of Eduardo donning a bikini, along with more current photos of his look-alike father, including a photo of Eduardo, surrounded by family members. This includes estranged wife, Kyle Richards, and their three daughters, Alexia, Sophia, and Portia Umansky.
Kyle showed her support for Mauricio by liking the post, while his friend, Paul “PK” Kemsley, left three red heart emojis in the comments of the post.

“The Jewish holidays just passed, and he said, ‘Can you come over and we’ll do the holidays at my house?’ and I was like, ‘I have more space here,'” Kyle explained during the After Show. “So, I’ve been still hosting the Jewish holiday dinners with his family.”
Mauricio Umansky credits his dad, Eduardo, on how he navigated his career
In his 2023 memoir, The Dealmaker: How to Succeed in Business and Life Through Dedication, Determination & Disruption, Mauricio recalled a conversation that he had with his father before choosing his career. At the time, he was attending a junior community college, but he had no idea what he wanted to do, and was “more interested in going surfing.”
After two years of school, Eduardo, a clothing manufacturer, called Mauricio on the phone, and said as written in the book, “‘Listen, I’m kind of sick taking care of you while you’re bumming around and, now with the current financial challenges, it’s not the same world it was before. You need to either get a job or go to school, but I’m no longer supported you being a pseudo athlete or just having fun.'”

After that conversation, Mauricio wrote that he “chose to forgo any further schooling and join my father’s textile company, which my grandfather had started, and I planned to take over one day.” “It was the best decision I’ve ever made,” he noted.
