McBees Visit Nashville Before Steven Sr.’s Prison Surrender

The guys and gals of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys are spending some quality time together in the weeks preceding Steve McBee Sr.’s prison sentence.

Over the weekend, close friend of the family and farmhand Jake Denton shared a group photo with the caption “Quick lil’ 24 hour trip to Nash” on his Instagram Stories, a lively outing with the family’s patriarch surrounded by loved ones. Among them, Steve Sr.’s son Cole McBee and Cole’s fiancée, Kacie Adkison, the latter of whom shared her own snap from their time in Nashville, Tennessee — where the McBees own a holiday home — “w my people.”

The quick trip away from the family’s Gallatin, Missouri-based home and business comes amid the father of four and grandfather’s legal woes, including a judge’s order that he surrender to federal authorities to serve 24 months in prison. As fans well know, Steve Sr. entered a guilty plea in 2024 to a multi-million-dollar federal crop insurance scheme, and in addition to the prison sentence handed down on Oct. 16, he must also pay $4,022,124 in restitution.

That said, the defendant’s eldest, Steven McBee Jr., exclusively told The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025 that his father was doing quite well, all things considered.

“Dad’s doing good; he is the most optimistic person I’ve ever met in my life,” the eldest of the McBee brothers reported. “You know, it’s a tough situation for the family, but we’re just focused on the future. We have so many good things going for us, and we’re just wanting to show support and love to my dad throughout this time.”
