Meghan King begins her real estate career: “Isn’t for the faint of heart!”
As she and her children built a new life in Missouri, Meghan decided to return to school to get her real estate license. She announced the career move in a November 2023 Instagram post, admitting the process wouldn’t be easy, especially as a single mom.
“It’s been 17 years since I was in a classroom at Ole Miss swearing I’d never go back to school yet here I am studying for my Real Estate license in Missouri…” she wrote. “Yep I said it now that means I have to pass. 11.5 study hours clocked yesterday with my only break being to eat and put my kids to bed — this ish isn’t for the faint of heart!”
“My eyes are going to love me,” she continued. “The library has made a resurgence from my high school and college study days and has earned the spot of most frequented location in my phone, and no time for trivial items like posting on Instagram (ya right) – I have slides to learn (aka memorize)! Please gimme all the advice… and all the referrals!”
As indicated on Instagram, Meghan has had a lot of success balancing her career and home life. She shares frequent updates on her growing kids and never hesitates to celebrate her multi-million-dollar real estate deals.
