Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga have been married for 21 years, and are open about the love that they have for each other. In a new interview, The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple revealed how they make things work after two decades of marriage.
Joe and Melissa appeared on the podcast, Legally Goff, on Tuesday, March 24, and said they are a very “normal” couple after having three kids. “I think people are shocked at how normal we are and how abnormal we are at the same time, if that makes sense,” Melissa said during the episode.Â
“I mean, we just keep the old school values,” Joe added. “Like I get up every day and go to work and just show them that we go to work and she hustles. We all hustle very hard. We always do as much as we can. If we’re not around, we just always have dinner together.”

Joe and Melissa said they’ve been able to make things work for so long because they put the work into their relationship. “Here’s the secret: You gotta just keep dating. I date her all the time,” Joe said.Â
“There’s multiple reasons why we’re good,” Melissa added.
“She just wants to feel loved and feel sexy, and I make her feel sexy,” Joe noted.
But it’s not just physical chemistry that makes their marriage work. The Envy by MG boutique owner said the pair have many similarities in their life and their values.
“You have to be attracted. You have to marry right. We have the same vibe when it comes to family, when it comes to life, when it comes to when we want to go out on a Friday night,” Melissa shared. “We’re similar in a lot of ways.”

Joe Gorga shares a message for Melissa Gorga on her birthday
Joe’s admiration for Melissa was very apparent in his birthday message to her this year. The dad of three took to Instagram on March 21, Melissa’s birthday, and posted a series of photos of his wife holding his hand as they smiled for the camera, posing at an event, and serving some serious face in a selfie. “Happy birthday to my queen. I love you,” he captioned the post.
In the comments, Melissa returned the love to her husband. “Love u,” she replied.
