Antonia Gorga has a boyfriend, and her mom, Melissa Gorga, finds it “so funny” for one very ironic reason. The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter is currently in her junior year of college at the University of Delaware, and has been up to quite a lot, which includes hanging out with someone special.
Melissa spoke with The Daily Dish on Oct. 23, where she dished on Antonia’s very exciting life update. “She has a boyfriend now,” Melissa said, revealing that Antonia met him while attending college.
“He goes to her school, but he’s from East Hanover, New Jersey, which is so funny,” she continued. “I’m like, ‘You go to Delaware and you find the Italian Jersey boy.’ Like, that’s what you find. So that’s exciting.”

Although Antonia is staying busy with her studies and hanging out with her boyfriend, she always makes time for her parents and her little brothers. Melissa continued, telling The Daily Dish that Antonia is doing “amazing” at college, but frequently makes the trip from Delaware to New Jersey to visit.
“She comes home a lot, though, which is funny,” she noted. “She misses my food, which I’m shocked. I’m like, what better compliment than when your daughter’s like, ‘Ma, I just want your food.’ Like, ‘Just cook for me.’ So she’s cute.”

“We’re a very close-knit family,” she added. “We do hang on the couch together a lot. We watch movies together. We’re like, that family. I know the boys will like, get up and go and come back, but she misses that family time on the couch. So she needs it for a minute, and then she goes back.”

Joe also revealed a major difference between Antonia and his high school-aged sons, Joey Jr. and Gino Gorga. The dad of three took to his Instagram Story earlier in the week, where he admitted that his sons will run away from his phone camera, while Antonia will relish being on camera.

But, he also revealed that he hasn’t been pleased by the fact that Antonia sends him fewer loving text messages than she used to in the past. “You know what? I found some text messages from when she was a baby, and she was like, ‘Daddy, I love you; I love you so much, so, so, so, so much. When you coming home? You’re the best daddy ever.’ Right? And now, I barely get that,” he said in a video, posted to his Instagram Story. “I barely get that. It’s a shame.”
