Melissa Gorga recently got a procedure done because she said she’s been seeing more hair “thinning.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom of three has sported so many different hairstyles over the years, but is hoping to make some major restoration to her hairline.
Melissa took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 11, where she revealed that she had gone to see Dr. Jeffrey Wise, a New Jersey facial plastic surgeon and hair restoration surgeon, to help restore her hairline. The Envy by MG owner filmed a video of her, sitting in the doctor’s office, explaining everything that she was about to do. “So I’m at Dr. Wise’s office right now, I’m about to receive PRP all along my hairline and Exosomes, we’re also going to inject through here and all along the hairline,” she explained in the video.
“I just feel like it’s good for nourishment for your hair and here is starting to thin a little bit, right along my hairline, and it’s gonna help with all of that so I’m excited,” she continued. “I’m a little nervous. I’m excited for the laughing gas. They numb you and it doesn’t hurt that bad is what everyone’s saying, so I’m just excited to get the healthy growth all along the hairline back, so stay tuned!”
Melissa also took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a video of her sitting in the doctor’s chair and a photo of the machine that the doctor used on her. “Well this should be fun,” she wrote over the photo.

Melissa also took to the caption of the post, where she shared the motivation behind restoring her hairline. “I’ve been noticing thinning around my hairline, and I was ready to fight back,” she wrote. “I am such a ponytail girl!”
Melissa first got PRP done to her hairline. “They draw your own blood, spin it and grab all the good stuff out of it! Melissa previously spoke with BravoTV.com in 2022, where she revealed that she had a secret to making her hair looking as good as it does. She admitted, at the time, that she used Aquage shampoo and conditioner which she called “the best stuff on earth.” “I’m obsessed with it,” she said.
“It just really has changed my hair, to be honest,” she added. “It’s very conditioning. It’s so good for your color. It helps your color stay.”
