Melissa Gorga Updates on Kids Antonia, Gino & Joey Jr. (OCT. 2025)

Melissa Gorga is giving a new look inside of her family life on Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition. Although viewers have gotten to know Melissa, her husband, Joe Gorga, and their three kids — Antonia, Gino, and Joey Gorga — on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she is now shedding some new light on her kids’ lives today on the new series. 

Melissa spoke with The Daily Dish on Oct. 23, where she explained that she’s excited for viewers to see her kids in a new way when her Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition episode airs on October 28. In particular, she’s so proud of how all three of her children handled the experience after she traded places with vegan mom Michelle Clark. 

“My kids are so forefront in this and I love the way they embraced her and the way they really participated and were open to her ways and what she does,” Melissa shared. “I’m really proud of my kids for this, and I can’t wait for everyone to see just my family, my mother, my sisters, and my kids in this. It’s really great to have it focused there for a minute.”

Melissa and Joe’s sons have both been occupied with playing football on the same team at their high school. And Melissa told The Daily Dish that she is loving this. 

“I’m having the most amazing football season because I get one year only that both of my sons are on the same team because I have a sophomore and a senior and my sophomore plays varsity,” she explained. “I am like a proud mom… So it’s my year to watch football.”

But, Melissa shared that she will be missing one playoff football game to attend BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas in November. “Joe’s like, ‘Can we fly?’ I’m like, ‘No, we’re not flying out Thursday, flying back in.'”

Melissa’s sons showed off their high school attitudes on the first day of school. The Envy by MG boutique owner took to Instagram on Sept. 4, where she posted a picture of Gino and Joey flipping the bird as they walked down the driveway with their backpacks in tow. “Yep- that’s it. That’s the pic,” Melissa quipped in the caption of the post.

Antonia has also been so occupied with her studies at the University of Delaware, where she currently studies business and marketing. But, there is a lot that is up in the air for her, Melissa explained to The Daily Dish.

“She’s not that girl that’s like, ‘I wanna be a doctor,'” she admitted. “She’s open to a lot of things right now, so we’ll see. I think she sees I’m excellent at marketing like that. I really am, like, that’s my thing. And I think she watches me.”

Melissa revealed that Antonia watched her build up her sprinkle cookie business, Let’s Sprinkle by MG, from the ground up. “She watched me build that business in the month of December last year because she was home that whole month and it was like, full force, and we were being attacked,” she noted. “Like, it was just crazy the amount of sales and trying to keep up with it and trying to have the baker bake up cookies we sold out two times so she watched all of that and I think she got very intrigued in business and like, the aspect of making money.”

But, Melissa doesn’t know if Antonia would like to be a part of the family business. “I was like, I would love for you to just come work with me, but you really have to work,” she added. “I’m not going to be one of those moms that’s like, ‘OK, she works for me, but she really doesn’t do anything.’ Like, no, you need to be an asset. Show me how you’re going to grow the company. What’s your part? How are you going to make Sprinkle bigger? If that’s what you want to do, then you have to give me your pitch.”

Antonia’s studies have not just been keeping her busy. Her social life in college has, too. In her interview with The Daily Dish, Melissa revealed that Antonia officially has a boyfriend, who she met at school.

“He goes to her school, but he’s from East Hanover, New Jersey, which is so funny,” she admitted. “I’m like, ‘You go to Delaware and you find the Italian Jersey boy.’ Like, that’s what you find. So that’s exciting. She comes home a lot though, which is funny.”

Melissa Gorga reveals what Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition taught her about motherhood

In addition to learning more about Melissa’s family, Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition viewers will get to learn more about Melissa’s perspective on motherhood. During the episode, Melissa will be swapping lives with a “disorganized vegan and Double Dutch enthusiast, Michelle Clark” which taught Melissa “a lot.”

“Everything was a learning experience, like everything that the child cried about or [anything that] happened was a learning experience. I’m like, ‘Wow, I spent a lot of time with my kids, but I don’t make everything a learning experience when it really could be,'” she told The Daily Dish. “So, [I learned] just to elaborate… on everyday issues…really talk to your kids a little bit more when just something that you don’t think is a big deal happens. [Michelle’s husband] made it a big deal and gave a whole spiel and like, it was a learning experience for them. So I think just with motherhood it gave me a lot of insight.”
