Shahs of Sunset‘s Mercedes Javid and Tommy Feight are officially divorcing after seven years of marriage. According to TMZ, Mercedes and Tommy have split after marrying in April 2018 (their wedding was featured on Season 7 of Shahs of Sunset). Together they are parents to their 6-year-old son, Shams.
Their split comes about a decade after they first started dating. As fans will recall, Mercedes and Tommy met online and took fans inside their love affair from the early days through important milestones. Tommy asked Mercedes to marry him in 2016. Much like their wedding, the proposal was was also captured on Shahs of Sunset.

The couple wed in April 2018 in in front of family, friends, and loved ones in West Hollywood with Reza Farahan serving as her “man of honor.” Making the day even more of a family affair, Mercedes’ dog was a ring bearer. She explained of the guest list that “every single person invited is someone that is a really important part of my life and Tommy’s as well.”
One year after saying “I do,” in April 2019, Mercedes gave birth to her and Tommy’s son, Shams Francis Feight, after undergoing IVF. Their son’s name is significant as the moniker pays tribute to Mercedes’ late dad and Tommy’s late mom.

“My father taught me and treated me and spoke to me like an equal as far back as I can remember,” Mercedes told PEOPLE at the time. “He was always trusting, positive, encouraging and gave me a sky-is-the-limit outlook … I want to raise my child in similar ways [that] my father did. Just being really calm and giving me independence. I think the tools I was given by him are some of the best things.”

In 2021, they moved into a home in Calabasas (video at the top of the post). In the years since, they have often shared updates on their family life, including emotional updates on Shams.
