Meredith Marks faced TikTok rumors about husband Seth Marks’ alleged infidelity head-on during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6.
After their rocky start on their charter with the Below Deck Down Under crew, during Episode 8’s zombie-themed dinner, Meredith called out Britani Bateman for taking a sip of tequila immediately after she “got a little seasick” over the side of the megayacht. That prompted Britani to clap back with the cheating allegations.
“You know what? I’m actually concerned about something that I saw on TikTok,” Britani announced. “I saw something on TikTok today about Seth’s possible indiscretion.”
As the ladies collectively lost their minds and asked her to clarify what she was talking about, Britani put it more plainly, adding, “Seth’s having a mistress.”

In a confessional, Meredith denied the allegations — while also issuing Britani a thinly veiled warning.
“I don’t know why Britani’s even talking about me, my marriage, or my husband,” she vented to a producer. “I have not talked about all the stuff out there about Britani. Like, there’s plenty to talk about. Leave me alone, leave my husband alone. Go focus on your own misery.”
How Meredith Marks reacted to the Seth Marks “mistress” rumors
Similar to her confessional, Meredith didn’t hold back while going toe-to-toe with Britani.
“My husband does not have a mistress; we are in a monogamous marriage,” she shot back, before referencing Britani’s on-and-off boyfriend Jared Osmond. “Because your boyfriend breaks up with you every time he wants to sleep with someone else, that’s your problem, not mine.”
She continued, “You’re a liar and a malicious, despicable person. And you know what? I’m not interested in you trying to interfere in my relationship, because you’re jealous that you can’t hold a man down.”

When Britani pointed out that the cheating allegations were “all over TikTok,” Meredith replied, “I have not seen it, nor do I care.”
Amid some more name-calling, Meredith got so heated that she even ripped off and threw her saw headband onto the deck.
“She needs to stay away!” Meredith fumed. “I don’t want her around me. She’s filled with hate. Keep her away.”
Britani and Meredith’s intense dustup even made Captain Jason Chambers think twice about joining the group for the zombie ice cream cake that chef Ben Robinson served for dessert.
Why Britani Bateman brought up rumors about Meredith Marks’ husband, Seth Marks
During RHOSLC‘s Nov. 4 episode, Britani insisted that she wasn’t saying the rumor was true and brought up “the problem” in Meredith and Seth’s marriage only to provide her castmate “a safe space to talk about it.”
As Meredith sternly told her, “I don’t need to talk to you.”
During a recent exclusive interview at Bravo HQ, Britani shed even more light on why she brought the TikToks to everyone’s attention, claiming that the drama didn’t play out as she’d originally intended.
“I was planning on pulling Meredith aside, because this isn’t one of those things that you say in front of a group. It’s extremely sensitive,” Britani revealed in the video above. “But then she started going after me at dinner. She was doing her Meredith thing, and I took that opportunity to say that right then.”
In hindsight, the result of dropping the bombshell didn’t exactly leave Britani with a feeling of pride.
“It was probably not the best thing I’ve ever done. It wasn’t my shining moment,” she admitted. “It’s also one of those things that I’m a girls’ girl, and if I know something, I’m gonna say it, whether it’s in private or public, but she needed to know.”
