Meredith Marks has still yet to disengage completely from her and Heather Gay’s drama on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
As seen on Season 6, Episode 13, tensions related to Meredith’s behavior on the return flight from their charter with the Below Deck Down Under crew boiled over during the more recent cast trip to Greece. After facing off with Heather at a group dinner, Meredith exclusively unpacked their conflict during a recent visit to Bravo HQ.
“Heather spent the last month, month and a half before Greece literally just incessantly screeching at me,” Meredith claimed. “It wasn’t even screaming; it was literally screeching. And it got to a point where it was just grating on my nerves. I couldn’t listen to it anymore. It was exhausting.”

Nevertheless, Meredith said she had asked Heather to talk through their issues “a multitude of times,” both before and during the Greek getaway that Angie Katsanevas hosted.
“I was trying to work things through with her,” Meredith insisted. “She didn’t want to work things through. She just wanted to keep screeching. You know, at some point you just stop trying.”
Ultimately, Meredith said that she felt her handling of the situation with Heather was warranted, adding, “If someone’s screeching at you incessantly, what are you going to do? Be real warm and chummy, or are you going to take a step back and retract? Of course I’m going to withdraw. So, what do you want me to do?”
Heather Gay looks back on her argument with Meredith Marks in Greece
During a separate Bravo HQ interview, Heather, for her part, referred to her and Meredith’s dinnertime argument in Greece as a really “tense moment.”
“I’ve never really fought with Meredith ever,” Heather explained. “I was just pretty focused on healing and repairing that relationship and just navigating it. And [I was] less concerned with, like, the smaller fights in the group that I… may or may not have been responsible for.”

When Heather was asked if she felt like there are times when Meredith is “hot and cold” with her, Heather emphatically replied in the affirmative.
“I mean, that’s what she does, you know?” she elaborated. “That’s just how she is wired, I think.”

During RHOSLC‘s Dec. 9 episode, Heather shared that her biggest issue was that Meredith had allegedly called her a “liar” after she shared her account of the hotly debated airplane incident with Britani Bateman and its aftermath. According to Heather, Meredith told her as they were exiting the plane that if she intended to maintain a relationship with Britani, then their friendship was “done.”
The RHOSLC cast — including Lisa Barlow — corroborated Heather’s claim about Meredith issuing a post-flight friendship ultimatum. Meredith, meanwhile, remained firm that she never said such a thing, nor did she accuse Heather of being a liar.
When Heather tried to rehash the drama during the dinner in Greece, Meredith pushed back by saying that she had given her multiple opportunities to chat privately. “It’s not something I can address as a group,” Meredith said.
As their heated confrontation escalated, Heather alleged that Meredith was using the TikTok cheating rumors about Seth Marks as “the reason to annihilate” her friendships with her, Britani, and Whitney Rose. In Heather’s words, “You are selective about what you have outrage for.”
Before abruptly excusing herself from the table, Meredith responded, “I don’t agree with you. And if you want to hold a grudge against me over it, that’s up to you.”
