The always-on-the-go entrepreneur and caviar brand founder got candid about her marriage in an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish after being asked what she’s most excited for fans to see on the new season (premiering Tuesday, Sept. 16).

“Contrary to what my casemates may see, my dynamic with my husband, which is actually really positive and great,” Meredith responded.

Although she didn’t define which parts of the relationship other Housewives might have witnessed, Meredith admitted to “some little squabbles” in the marriage, maintaining such tiffs were “very normal in a healthy relationship.”

“The ones who are trying to say their marriages are all perfect are the ones who usually have the biggest problems,” Meredith continued. “So, I’m happy to show that.”

Meredith didn’t name names, but teasers ahead of RHOSLC Season 6 are rife with marital troubles, be it the “devastating missteps” in Whitney Rose and her husband’s financial life, or the “illuminating cracks” in Lisa Barlow’s marriage. But regarding Meredith and her bath buddy Seth? “It’s been great,” she maintained.

To paraphrase, “Life is good” for the parents of three.

How Seth Marks’ new job is bringing him and Meredith Marks closer together

Things are especially good now that Seth works remotely as the recently named Senior Vice President of Wholesale Solutions at GA Group. Because, as Meredith explained, “There’s so much flexibility for him to kind of be able to be wherever I need to be, and that makes things a lot easier. It takes a lot of the conflict away.”

Continued Meredith, “But we’re just enjoying life. We’re having a fun time, traveling with each other, and he’s coming to a lot of my DJ events, and other events.”

Seth working at home would solve one of the couple’s more recurring issues in their marriage. Ever since the series premiere in 2020, Seth’s work forcing him away has been a major point of contention, beginning in Season 1 and more recently in Season 5.

As Meredith put it on Season 5, Episode 7 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, Seth’s business-related travel sometimes “snowballs into this beast where it’s like, hard for us to even connect.”

Meredith Marks and Seth Mark’s relationship timeline

Meredith and Seth Marks married in 1996 at the Ritz-Carlton in their native Chicago with about 350 loved ones in attendance. Together, they share adult children, Reid Marks, Next Gen NYC’s Brooks Marks, and their only daughter, Chloe Marks.

On RHOSLC Season 1, Episode 2, Meredith told producers, “Seth and I have been together for a really long time. We met when we were 23, got married at 24, and had a baby at 25. It was just a tornado that came through, and that was it. I was young but head-over-heels in love, so I went for it.”

Although there’s nothing rocky about her marriage, things were “a little rocky” with the other Housewives during filming. Meredith said at the DIRECTV’s Plot Twist – Featuring Bravo event in NYC on Aug. 12 that it was “frustrating” when “you hear people spreading a lot of lies about you.”

“I don’t do it to other people, I don’t spread lies,” she added. “I don’t get it, but I don’t control anyone but myself.”
