Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 13s from his Chicago Bulls Last Dance season are up for grabs… and $2m-$4m valued kicks are set to break the world record for any pair of sneakers sold at an auction

Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 13 sneakers from Game 2 of the 1998 NBA Finals will go on sale next month.

The basketball icon wore the black and red kicks in Chicago Bulls’ 93-88 victory over the Utah Jazz during his Last Dance season.

The pair of shoes are set to smash the world record for any pair of sneakers sold at an auction with bids expected to fetch between $2million and $4million.

‘Michael Jordan game-worn sports memorabilia has proven time-and-time again to be the most elite and coveted items on the market,’ Sotheby’s Head of Streetwear and Modern Collectables Brahm Wachter said.

‘However, items from his Last Dance season are of a greater scale and magnitude as seen with our record-breaking sale of his Game 1 jersey in 2022.

‘Worn in his final year with the Bulls, the iconic Air Jordans coming to auction this April will be sure to excite the collector.’

Jordan’s Bulls jersey from Game 1 of the 1998 NBA Finals sold for a mammoth $10.09million at auction in September.

That figure was over double its estimate and made it the most-expensive piece of game-worn sports memorabilia of all time.

Jordan’s sneakers head a two-part sports memorabilia sale named Victoriam Parts I & II with wealthy bidders able to give their offers online from April 3 with the auction closing on April 11.

The NBA legend scored a game-high 37 points in Game 2 as he donned the ‘Bred’ Air Jordan XIII sneakers in the second half of the victory.

The Bulls went on to the league championship as Jordan picked up his sixth Finals MVP accolade.
