Michelle Saniei Reveals Why Aaron Broke Up With Her: EXCLUSIVE

Michelle Saniei opened up about her new single life on The Valley Season 3 premiere, and revealed more details about the end of her relationship with Aaron Nosler during The Valley After Show.

“I was very surprised, because I didn’t see any signs,” she admitted on the After Show. “I thought he was really happy. I was very happy. He was the one that had the conversation with me that I should move in, and like really think about this. And I don’t know what happened.”

She added during The Valley‘s April 1 episode: “It’s the first time anyone has ever broken up with me. I usually do the breaking up.”

Michelle and Aaron called it quits in July 2025, just over a year after they first revealed their relationship in April 2024.

Michelle spilled more tea on the end of the relationship while out to dinner with Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent, and Janet Caperna during the season premiere, and revealed for the first time the major reason behind their breakup.

“He wants a ‘fitness girl,'” she told her friends. The ladies were astonished, and Lala called Aaron an “asshole.”

On the After Show, Michelle added, “He was just nitpicking every single thing about me, about how I don’t go to the gym enough.”

But Jason Caperna, who said he spoke on the phone with Aaron after the split, believed there was more to the story.

“I think what it really boiled down to is he just didn’t feel like she was the person that he was ultimately going to call his wife,” he shared on the After Show. “It was getting really serious. They just moved in together. He sees like, ‘Okay, if this keeps on going, it’s going to be harder and harder.’”

Michelle Saniei and Jesse Lally share how the breakup impacted their daughter, Isabella

Michelle’s breakup also had a major impact on Isabella, the daughter she shares with her ex-husband, Jesse Lally.

Jesse detailed the moments following the split during the After Show. “Aaron and Michelle sat down with Isabella, and told Isabella, and Isabella called me… she was so sad,” Jesse shared.

Michelle added, “I remember she cried. We actually went to Jesse’s house for an hour, and all of us hung out. And then a few days later, she was totally fine.”

However, Jesse revealed that his daughter still has a relationship with Aaron, at the urging of their therapist.

“‘If Isabella wants to reach out to him, let her reach out to him,'” Jesse recalled the therapist saying. “I appreciate [Aaron] being such a man that when Isabella FaceTimes him or sends him an audio message, he responds. Eventually, that will end. But I really appreciated how much he stepped up to the plate after they moved out. It was a very big thing for him to do.”

Michelle, who has since moved into a new West Hollywood home, said she appreciated the way Aaron handled her and Isabella’s move out of his home.

“He was very proper in that he left the house, and he went to live with his mom for a couple of months, while I found a place,” Michelle shared on the After Show. “I was very grateful for that part.”

Michelle Saniei offers an update on co-parenting with ex Jesse Lally

Michelle opened up more about her current relationship with Jesse during the April 1 episode, as well as how the two are co-parenting Isabella.

“Jesse and I split Isabella,” Michelle explained of their arrangement. “We switch weekends.”

Michelle also revealed that she and Jesse had not yet finalized their divorce at the time of filming. “I wish it [had been] finalized two years ago when I first asked for a divorce,” she told producers. “But he just always has an excuse [for] why he can’t sign the paperwork.”

Jesse disputed allegations that he was dragging the process out. “Michelle, for some reason, thinks everything I do is strategic,” he said to producers. “Trust me, I want to get divorced. It just hasn’t happened yet. Simple.”

However, in October 2025, Michelle and Jesse shared that they had settled their divorce and reached an agreement, and at BravoCon 2025, they announced the divorce had been finalized.
