Missing 15-year-old Illinois Teen Found Strangled in South Shore Home – Crime Online

An Illinois teen who hasn’t been seen since August was found dead Saturday inside a Chicago apartment.

According to ABC 7, 15-year-old Amarise Parker was found deceased Tuesday in a residence in the 7200 block of South Phillips Avenue in the South Shore. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed her identity and an autopsy indicated that she had been strangled.

Police say the case has been classified as a homicide; no arrests have been made.

Parker was last seen alive on August 30 in the 10900 block of South Wood Street in Chigago. Family members said she left the residence that day after returning home from school, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
